what's the weather like? average house price for a 4 bed, detached home in an upscale community? cost of housekeeper or cleaning lady that comes twice a month?
Weather is karachi like....Dont know about the 4 bed but 3 bed 2 bath starts around 150000 (my sister owns one). Sugar Land is an upscale community and have a lot of divisions where prices vary. Also, dont have a clue about the leaning lady. I would import a maasi from Pakistan if I could.

It’s nearly impossible to get a house like that at such a low price in the GTA.

Muzna is right. If lower cost of living and higher concentration of Muslim community are the prioraties, I cant think of better places in USA than Houston or Dallas. If you dont mind extreme heat (we all are pakistanis so heat is usually not a problem), those cities are the ideal cities.
Not only that but these 2 cities are also usually amongst top 10 over all best metros to live in USA

I am assuming that you are talking about DC. It is a very congested and quite expensive place.

My khala moved from London to Houston some 20 years ago. They sold their 3 bedrom semi detached house in Harrow and bought a massive house in Sugarland for the same price!

Why do you want to move from UK Hareem?
Just to experience the life elsewhere. I don't think I'd ever sell my house in UK though. My kids' grandparents are here in UK so I plan to keep coming back for vacations. And I think I do love this country. :(

We have Jaffa Cakes and NORMAL sized portions and our Walkers crisps are called Walkers not Lays or whatever it was. The only food I rate in America is Salt Water Taffy.
I don't wants to live in America. Mary Poppins only works in England.
