we boil the water and leave it out too, but the thing is, it gets quite cold overnight with the AC running and all that, so it would be nice to give him a warmed up bottle. plus i plan to pre-mix his feeds ahead of time and keep in the fridge, so as soon he’s ready we can just warm up his bottle and away we go, and there aren’t tons of bubbles in the bottle from shaking it to mix just before feeding.

as for the burping, agreed- its part of the growing up process, but he gets fussy and gassy and burps get stuck and i just want to ease his discomfort any way i can, hence the bottle-testing

I used to put the water in a hot water thermos. Very convenient.
