Besharmi indeed / Who Here Thinks...

Are you telling me that its wrong for me to open a thread about menstruation - HOW MANY HAVE WE HAD REALLY?

I dont think the topic is wrong at all. Some of the comments are really disgusting, and moderators could do better by selectively shifting those posts to review.

Ah, but some moderators, like the religion folks, seem not to understand that - or they’re too lazy.

Instead, they close down the whole thread.

Moderating requires a lot of TIME - one of the reasons I’m glad I’m not doing it anymore.

Its impossible to shift thru all the posts - but at least you can hit most of the disgusting posts if you go thru the controversial threads at least…that doesn’t require SO much time.

Really - moderators need to undergo MOD’ing 101.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

I dont think it's wrong to discuss bloody vaginas in a public forum. Actually I would wanna know all the different types of tampons and the sizes used by fellow guppans. Oh and that too in alphabetical order.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

You are right. Let’s start with you then.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

Silly M comes before V so lets start with you.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

What is wrong with bloody vaginas? Your own mother and your wife had to have them to produce offspring.

 Pakistanis need to grow up.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

So do you.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

Wow, a sober response. Guess that one hit where it hurts.

Next time, if you see the thread is clearly about menstruation, and it offends you, dont click on it...kinda why I put it in the title CLEARLY.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

No PCG you should have figured out the menstrual cycle by now. If you are still grappling with why a vagina bleeds once a month or every three weeks then you need to see a Doc or a Psychologist or maybe have a discussion with your folks about birds and bees, and make sure they cover the part of bloody mary's.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

i personally dont have a bloody issue if someone opens such a thread but i noticed that in the thread u asked guys to stay out. if u wanted only women to participate u shud have made that clear. other than that no issues. discuss what you want. u have my permission :D

Who Here Thinks...

That it is wrong to speak about menstruation in Life1?

Just curious. :)

Re: Who Here Thinks...

What's all the hoo haa about it, it happens. As for menstruation related things, like PMS, I can cite you studies that show symptoms are exagerated by expectations. I dont understand the need for discussion.

Re: Besharmi Indeed

Verizon you come up with the lamest responses.

So go ahead tell us all about your experience with tampons. And do tell me your favourite brand so I can get you a pack for your birthday.

Re: Who Here Thinks...

hmm i dont really care.. but some people do find it offensive... so i guess i dunno respect their views.. or they could just stay outta the thread.. i dunno..

i just know, most people arent too comfy talking about it... i couldnt careless

Re: Who Here Thinks...

Sarah Splendor, I've learned more desi nuskas and herbal stuff from this site to induce a period more than any other place. I do see a need for discussion.

Re: Who Here Thinks...

okay i can understand why ppl wud be uncomfortable with teh sex topics in here, but why they get squeamish about menstruation is beyond me....

i mean makin retarded jokes is one thing, but to be acutally "offended" is just ridiculous..

Re: Who Here Thinks...

^ umm its not ridiculous.. some people just have different upbringing.. i know if i spoke about PMS casually infront of my cousins in pak, they'd think i was some awara larki.. its just the way people think... thats all :)

Re: Besharmi Indeed

I actually agree with Verizon...

Re: Who Here Thinks...

Its usually multi-nick or a new nick for such topics (sensitive/uncomfortable). Mature replies/discussion without the unnecessary hungama. Not really wrong but this seems to be a norm here, i think.

Re: Who Here Thinks...

Well, I have never come across a lady who talks about the subject in front of males. Though, it's my understanding that females often talk about "breaks" from Namaz or fasting; and it's to be understood what the "breaks" refer to. Why is this being discussed by the way?
