I dont think there is anythng wrong with having a belly piercing...we pierce our noses and ears too. I have one but no one has ever seen it aside from my best friends. Its just something I got for myself, for the fun of it. No other reason.
I dont like the idea of a bride showing it off though on her wedding.
On your big day, you're supposed to look elegant, graceful and just pure classy.

eew she should have kept it concealed for her hubby i find it sexy too but if i ever do that in my life NO ONE will see it except him!
Usually the set (if its big) covers the gala and the duputta takes care of the “backless shirt”.
Btw, i think showing off a belly piercing is kinda skanky for a bride. but privately for teh hubby… watever floats their boats :k:

I actually had mine done a couple of months before my wedding - my mom knew about it and so did the hubby. I didn't show it to anyone as I don't bare my stomach. I did it because (back then) I had a flat stomach and wanted to look 'good' on the wedding night. However, my mother-in-law got me all saris as wedding gifts. After the wedding I remember I didn't know how to wear a sari and asked my husband's aunt to help tie it on me while I had the ring. Excuse my language but my husband was sh-tting bricks when she was tying the sari. I remember I wore it all high that day. LOL. After that day I took it out. (you have to keep something in there for it to stay open (like a fishing line). Nothing wrong if you get it - but it's hard to maintain.

Belly piercings do not hurt - just grab the skin above the belly hole and pinch.. you can't even feel anything!!
I think each to their own.... if you want to have your belly or other things pierced, do it. It's your body, and we all go to our own grave. Personally, i don't think it's an appropriate "bridal" thing to do; to have it on show..... it's just a little weird... it would send out a very strange message i think...

One of my besties has it… i didnt hurt her and at one point i reaaaally wanted one, then again ive also wanted my tongue pierced and my lip 
i dunno what stages i went thru all my life… thank fully i never did do any lol apart from nose and ears.. but if i had it id make sure it was for hubby’s eyes only… but im past my piercing stage any how! And i think it quite tacky for a bride as someone mentioned its all about the sharam and hayaa look
right about heavy necklace n dopatta covering ur skin but if i could see it thru dopatta n the neck was soo deep that even heavy set could not hide the cleavage then definitely it was not decent wear for a bride at all.
I am not in favor of sleeveless shirts also , which is quite normal now days. Sleeveless shirts seems like slips/shameez that we use as under shirt.

^ aside from maybe 1/2 that were posted here, i have never seen “clevage” on a bride…unless u know…she already had big ones (mA) and no matter how high up she went they wudn’t NOT show…and didnt wanna wear a turtleneck on her wedding day

I do not know how much show is showing cleavage but i think if its an inch or a bit more, its cleavage. Coz its very visible then.

No - I remember I had mine on and went through airport security - I didn't have a problem getting thru.
