I saw some pictures of a friend’s cousin who got married a couple of weeks ago. A Pakistani bride who wore an Indian style short top with a belly button ring :S I have never seen anyone do that before and while she herself was a pretty bride, the show of her piercing looked… well, bad.
Anyone here ever seen one?

I have seen some strange things but never seen that.
I think too much skin show, especially something intimate as a belly button piercing, can look vulgar at a wedding.

Pierced belly button is really sexy if you have a stomach to go with it. I have seen some indian brides with belly button ring/stud, it doenst look good.

I’ve heard belly button piercing is VERY painful. How do people put up with so much pain? 
My cousin got it done for her wedding. Wanted to surprise her hubby on the wedding night. She didn't show it off or anything though. Only couple of girl cousins know about this.
She got it done a week before her mehndi so it had enough time to heal. In the start it did hurt a lot. But by wedding time she was all fine & actually had matching rings with her outfits.
Only if it was allowed in Islam.

Bride looks good with her traditional sharam haya look.
I had seen some with too deep necks and back-less shirts on their wedding day, in a parlor actually, and i was like how are they going to go infront of their fathers and brothers :S

I don’t think it would be that bad for most people with a bit of anesthetic cream beforehand.. I’m too much of a wimp for it tho.. Facial piercings freak me out even more tho..
