I actually had mine done a couple of months before my wedding - my mom knew about it and so did the hubby. I didn't show it to anyone as I don't bare my stomach. I did it because (back then) I had a flat stomach and wanted to look 'good' on the wedding night. However, my mother-in-law got me all saris as wedding gifts. After the wedding I remember I didn't know how to wear a sari and asked my husband's aunt to help tie it on me while I had the ring. Excuse my language but my husband was sh-tting bricks when she was tying the sari. I remember I wore it all high that day. LOL. After that day I took it out. (you have to keep something in there for it to stay open (like a fishing line). Nothing wrong if you get it - but it's hard to maintain.
