belly button piercing..

Re: belly button piercing..

If I had a nice flat belly, I would think about getting it done....just for me and my husband. But unfortunately, I dont have a flat stomach, so that stops me! But if you want to get it done for yourself/husband, then I dont see anything wrong with it.

Re: belly button piercing..

I think people who have these weird perceptions about this stuff just need to relax...

As for those who think its to show off...I am sure it is for some but not for everyone. And I am not sure if its something worth explaining since I don't care to.

In reference to infections and such since its covered. Mine has been covered since I got it. Unless you lack basic hygiene...its more than fine.

Re: belly button piercing..

^Exactly. And I had the fear that it might get caught on my shirt while changing but that didn't happen either.

Re: belly button piercing..

whoever has gotten it done ladies...does it hurt while getting it done?!healing takes time?

Re: belly button piercing..

^ YEAH, girls, please share your experiences… Me too :sadiyah:

Re: belly button piercing..

^When I got it, it did not hurt AT all. It just feels like a pinch and I didn't even realize the needle was already in AND so was the stud they put in. I had assumed it would hurt so much but there was no pain at all, just a snug sensation and that's it. The healing process was annoying and that is when it would sting or slightly hurt if I stretched or my hand touched it but other than that it didn't hurt at all. I was able to change the stud in it myself shortly after.

I did however almost faint but after Googling it, I learnt that some people can get dizzy or even faint while getting it b/c there's a sensitive nerve close to the belly button which causes that but it's temporary.

Re: belly button piercing..

:bummer: is se kuch hota to nahin hay naa?? I mean, getting faint temporarily!!

Re: belly button piercing..

I wanted to do this all thru my teens but never got round to it (was always thinking 'when I get over my fear' lol)..

Re: belly button piercing..

:)

Re: belly button piercing..

lol, NO! Trust me, it is perfectly okay. In fact, most people dont feel a thing. I think because I watched the needle go in, so it was probably from that. If you dont look, you will be perfectly fine.

Re: belly button piercing..

It pinches for a second...nothing different than your nose piercing actually.

For healing, I used diluted Dial soap. Worked like a charm.

Re: belly button piercing..

So hot.

Re: belly button piercing..

^ what? soap??

Re: belly button piercing..

Soap is great for post-piercing cleaning. Anything detergent and fragrance free which wont irritate the skin. I was given a salt-water solution to wash with. Also, the Claire's piercing solution is great for that as well.

Re: belly button piercing..

No offense ,but I never liked it, it looks really gross and trashy to me..Sorry!!!
