There are a lot of “normal well-adjusted” women who have loving fathers and husbands who think,
“Goodness, just because I was so blessed doesn’t mean that all women are treated with dignity or have opportunities and the ability to make choices without fear of being held back because they were born a woman. Hmmmm maybe I can advocate on behalf of those women.”
You don’t need to be a single woman with daddy issues to have a social conscience.
