Re: Being killed for marrying a christian man and leaving Islam
Initially bura laga because ive read nearly all her blog posts and could empathise with her. I’m in a similar situation. Then i thought what does country of origin/religion have to do with opinion on this. It’s not even about India/Pakistan or religions from subcontinent. In the end i can’t fully blame her because maybe she had some bad experiences which affected her opinions of us. Some Indians are no angels either. The assumption that India must equal hindu culture equals backwardness found in desi subcontinent including Pakistan. Backwardness exists but one can’t generalise an entire culture because of it whether desi or something else. I wish her the best and hope Allah(swt) unko har kamyabi hasil kariyein chahe professionally and personally. I know she is good at heart. That’s all i have to say. I know sometimes i get carried away with “flattery” but i mean that genuinely.
Sorry for being off topic and thanks to mods and OP for respecting freedoms of non Pakistanis and those of ambiguous religious origin. ![]()
