Who cares what the business is selling, if you don't like him it's as simple as that. Unless you want to give in to the emotional drama. Just bear in mind that if you're unhappy, it'll be counter-productive because your parents will end up being unhappy with you in the long run.
Ooo and judging by some of the comments here, I guess you're quite popular and well-liked. I never got a chance to get to know you well. This should be goodbyes if you say yes then?

I mean nalki business..come'on ..the guys at the nalki shops are strange, they call everyone baji and force their choice on you no matter what you say. and they have no color sense whatsoever. and most of them eat paan..the one that generates a whole lot of peek :(
Oh and they actually get offended if someone says "yeh to purana ho gaya bhai jee" :(

Yeah your mom gave me a ring and told me how they lured her in with an offer of prettily embroidered clothes in exchange for your hand in unholy matrimony. Your mom said she didn't even have to think about it. She just said "DEAL!"

C'mon Philosophy...if you're so averse to this rishta, then simply let your parents know. If you don't know the guy well....tell em you're open to gettting to no him but that if you refuse...you don't want to be pressured or blackmailed.
