Thanks for the objective feedback, Aqua. There are pros and cons to every arrangement. If we lose ourselves in the negatives and magnify them, we won?t be able to appreciate the benefits we do have…including the good and value in that person.

I think all women should be given the choice to work or not to work.
I also strongly believe that a woman should have other hobbies, interests and a passion to make a difference in the world or the community she lives in to help define her personality and to grow and develop as a person. This can me done in so many ways.
Recently I met up with a friend and she was telling me that after her marriage (she’s the youngest and has older siblings who are already married) her mum was actually really sad/depressed. Her mum spent the last 25-30 years of her life raising her kids and that’s all her life became. Now that the kids are gone and have started their own lives the mom doesn’t know what to do because her reason to live and thrive is no longer there. Her mum was actually really lonely and just recently started taking an Islamic course and volunteering which has given her much more meaning in her life.
I think people who are so engrossed in family should take a step back and really work on themselves. Not to say family and raising kids is not important because it is a very valuable experience but it’s important to focus on yourself too or you end up losing yourself and it’s a long process to find yourself again esp. when you’re older.

its shame how people like u hire baby sitters to change diapers, take care of the baby, maids to do dishes… gardeners… sweepers … cooks… dhobiz… maalis… and all sorts of domestic help at ur place which have no skills according to u just so ur spouse can label herself as an accomplished woman and not some weakling housewife who take refuge at home …
trust me that salary ur so called accomplished wife (“if” she is working which I doubt she is) is making is going into the pockets of those unskilled domestic help at the end of the month u have hired …
So how many maids/domestic help u got at ur place ?? … to elaborate … i mean unskilled workers which r filling in for so called skilled accomplished workers like u and ur wife perhaps ???
There is nothing more therapeutic than doing your own cooking, gardening, sweeping, cleaning at home etc.
I have the sort of money most people can only dream if but I would still do all the above things or share with my wife/housewife.

I know a woman who does not protest at being slapped around, treated like a servant and lives to please a weak unsuccessful man is an unselfish woman. Weak men can’t handle strong women. Primitive men like you will not understand that modern society is gender neutral and does not subscribe to gender roles. I respect both men and women who take care of themselves and try to be the best version of themselves.
Clearly a successful man has no hesitation doing household work.
One of my friends asked me to help him build a garden retaining wall so I showed up with my tools. I thought it might be good for him to learn using power tools like jack hammer and rotary drills etc but he showed no interest, funnily he did not even want to lift a shovel and expected me to level the soil for him, he just kept sitting in the patio under the shade whilst his wife was doing all the household work like a servant. He kept asking me how did I learn this stuff and whether I am a real doctor or not? Lol
He is an accountant by trade but wont spend money on tradies! Which is all good but then you have to do it yourself. He kept saying how he was the man of the house and doing household work was beneath him.

So if anyone had any doubts, financial dependence will mean to put up with the likes of our resident misogynist who has no shame in publicly abusing young girls on the forum, girls young enough to be this horrible man’s daughters. In Pakistan, because most men are sexually frustrated & have all the free time at hands, their top most priority us to screen & frame females & their private lives & cause all sorts of problems & propaganda about their target females. While they do it only for the sake of pleasing their tinies, the anti Pakistan/ anti islam mafias benefit from it because they gain if even a single Pakistani’s life, reputation, career, financial stability is damaged. Those out of control pervs & misogynists who live & die for such cheap pleasures in screening & framing of females especially if the tinies feel threatened by their independence, create all sorts of lies & propaganda about such females to break them down in order to feel good about themselves & in control. While some weak women do get psychologically broken but not ones with strong faith in God. So God’s angels protect such strong women & the misogynists keep tossing & turning in this life & in their graves for the unfulfilled desire of subjugating any strong woman who did not allow them to mistreat or crush her psychologically.
I dont think there is any solution to that unless those evil men themselves go through some tormenting life changing experience where other misogynists treat some of their female loved one the same way. It is only then there is a chance for them to shake off their evil ways. Because they may feel bad for their female loved one being treated the same way as they treat other women. Otherwise there is not much good hope left for these societies. They’ve already reached the 3rd world status. They’ll continue to sink below & eventually disappear. That’s the fate of such societies.
