Bedspreads

So I have a very low bed, king size, really comfy and all but it needs some changes. I have a quilt that covers it when the bed is made but now that quilt is looking shabby. I could buy a new quilt but it serves its purpose well so I’m thinking of getting a nice bedspread.

Any suggestions on where to find good stuff? And pics.

Re: Bedspreads

niksik, sorry for adding this....I have been thinking about the same thing... :)
oh and at reasonable prices....in Canada ...would love some input from canadian ppl as well...
and while at bedspreads what is a good price to pay for towels and which ones are the best, plush and last a long time.. plus well priced...

Our bedroom has this theme (duck egg blue, different shades of cream, gold, oatmeal etc:

Using this as inpiration to decorate one of our guestrooms:

Ok, the gold overtones may be a little garish, but just an example of different accents, patterns, textures etc:

Cos i love aubergine and purples:

Contemporary and chic:

Re: Bedspreads

Nikky, check overtsock.com... they have good stuff at reasonable prices (however they are online only) or you could always visit Bed, Bath and Beyond :)

P.S. I love old quilts, they are comfy and soft :D

Re: Bedspreads

KNowing my husband, he'd go for number 2. He's totally not into paisleys and/or florals. I love the colors on the first one. Currently we have sage green curtains and I was hoping to change everything to bluish/grey.

this bed looks great for pillow fights.

I love BB&B… i bought some awesome safari style bed covers for one of our guest rooms when we were over in the States… i could spend a whole day in there.

If Mr Maroush had his way, he’d have a blank white room, a bed with black covers, a TV the size of a whole wall, and a mini refrigerator used as a night-stand. :nahi: there is a reason why women are women…we take charge when it comes to interior design. :snooty:

I think we should re-design your room from scratch. What say? :faizy:

It so is. We all have pillow fights on or bed, daughters included :hehe:

Re: Bedspreads

*Do men even like these very feminine and fussy designs? I love them but Mr. Nimboo would throw me out of the room. *

Re: Bedspreads

Your husband is a nimboo and you are malta? Your kids would be keenu and leemu awwwwww

Re: Bedspreads

Malta, i don't think men are bothered, either way. As long as they have some place to rest their head at night. :D

I heart Overstock.com

Re: Bedspreads

Who said men had a choice in this matter?

Re: Bedspreads

I was looking there and wow, neat stuff.

Maroush, come over, I could use some help :D

My husband is very interfering in these matters  I love him though :nahi:

:superman:

Lets burn some of Mr Niksik’s hard earned cash :hehe:

Re: Bedspreads

Hello, man that is why I bought that big sheet of tarp. Niks why cant we use that? its gonna protect the bed also

Re: Bedspreads

I hate the tarp. I burnt it today  and threw the ashes over Lake Washington.

Re: Bedspreads

Tarp? For what?

I’m sure you’re potty-trained TLK :nahi:

Niks, post a blueprint of your room… lets get to work!

Stop asking personal questions
