Lend us your ears, your creativity and your new born ahem, I mean a few moments of your lives!!
We are starting up a gang of punters who can cumulatively come up with commercials (videos) and other PR material for your beloved website. (I mean PakLinks.com, not Apple!!)
All you have to do is follow these guidelines:
The material could be in various genres, e.g. video, animation, pictures.
They could be in different moods: serious, funny, clever, etc.
They could copy famous themes from popular commercials: AT&T (sobby), NY Life, Budweiser (Wassaaapp or the frog etc)
Remember that they will be used on Pakistani and Islamic holidays as well so come up with footage included with corresponding themes
I think those are enough guidelines. We don’t want to rope in your creativity with too many boundaries.
Some timelines would soon be posted to gather these, so as to give us ample time too to clean stuff up and select proper distribution venues.
Now sharpen up ur creative horns and get ready for the charge. This is going to be huge. Be ready to dress up your favorite forum!!
I find Xaio Xaio's stick cartoons a hillarious form of advertising, pure genius, how to get him to do an add for guppshup is another matter....... hmmm i will sit here and let you guys do the thinking then steal your ideas ;)
The publishing is not yet 100% decided, but we want to leave that option open. Preferably NTSC and HD. With that said. I would like to go back to my earlier statement about **not **tying the options down. Feel free to work in various formats and resolutions.
Creativity is key. We want the Guppy/Guppan vision, how they see this site.
Here are a few points for the juices to start flowing:
1. You are sitting somewhere and you get a thought that you need to get to GS for, what is that thought? (I don't mean personal details, just the reason, like messaging a friend)
You are at a party and someone at the next table mentions the word GupShup. Does that send a thrill up your spine? Capture that feeling
You are at a public place, e.g. at a mall or a train station, and you hear someone calling another and it sounds like one of the Guppy names. Does that make you turn around?
