Re: Black Friday…
I’ll have to get back to you guys on the model of the Elliptical…I don’t remember it from the top of my head..
I’m looking at the Canon 70d, alot of Youtubers use it for blogging..its a great beginner-intermediate camera and apparenlty one of the best Auto focusing..I’m looking for a bundle..so it won’t cost that much.
So actually I dable a bit in Astronomy and have my own telescope..
But I’ll tell you now..even with a roof deck if the light pollution near your house is high it’s a waste of money. You’re better off with a pair of quality Binoculars. You should be able to see the moon, Venus, mercury, mars, ISS, Jupiter…
I purchased Amazon.com : Orion 09843 SpaceProbe 3 Equatorial Reflector Telescope (Teal) : Reflecting Telescopes : Electronics
This a while back..I saw saturn, jupiter, Mars really well…but like I said..its all about that light pollution. It’ll be good for camping (if and when you guys go)…
This site will help you with light pollution
DarkSiteFinder.com - Light Pollution Map
Stellarium is a good pc app for times and dates and where to look
Skyview or Skymap for mobile..
We’re in a major city so I’m sure we’d rate high in light pollution but most nights when I go up there with my tea I can see lots of stars in the sky so maybe it’s not too bad. We also have one of the best dark parks in the country not far from us: CLICK but I’ll start him off with binoculars! Thanks for the advice!
