beckham in nativity scene

I still can't believe that you actually expect people to agree with your point of view by using words such as whores and then right on the next line quoting some quranic text. If you know Islam so much (which im sure you do) did u ever think of integrating it in your own life aswell? Instead of forcing it down some atheist's throat, you should try to fix yourself first. I'm not the one to pass judgements nor would i call someone a whore in such a serious topic as this but i think you seriously need to stop using such vocabulary. It will make your argument a hell of a lot convincing.

^ there are good men...

:o

i guess i was a bit too harsh, but indeed it was in anger of defending honor of allah and his rasuls and the pious people. maryiam :as: certainly was a pious woman and the mother of essa :as: so i got very angry at such displays. i will try to watch my language from future inshallah.
and seminole you seem to lose credibility every time you post. let me correct it for you. van gogh INSULTED and CRITICIZED islam, he committed BLASPHAMY by posting islamic HOLY book on naked bodies. and so we were correct in stopping any future presentatiosn by him, while on the other hand we are CONDEMING the display of a “singer/artist” who is definately not as pure as mariam :as: for DESECRATING her HONOR. basically those two incidents are alike, one incident insulted muslim holy book the other insulted a holy figure, what was your point of saying that van gogh can do his film if we can criticize not CHRISTIANITY but DESECRATION of people’s honor respected in BOTH religions. your post made no sense. we criticized van gogh and we critizie the wax meuseum for the SAME reason, i see no contradiction in it.

Does anyone know that Quaid-e-Azam was the defence lawyer in the case of Ghazi Ilm-ud-din Shaheed? This person killed a Blasphemist Hindu and was therefore sentenced to death by the British Court. Quaid actually defended Ghazi Ilmuddin Shaheed.

This incidence happened in 1929 and is documented in history. Now start calling Quaid a 'matoo' as well. :)

ewwwwwwwwwww

.

I heard from the news that the Vatican is upset about this.

It's in bad taste.

Believe me, im no fan of this stunt either, nor am i a fan of either vicotria or david beckham but the point that i was trying to make is that by using such words, your hurting your argument more than your helping it.

Seminole, its his opinion, regardless of whether its his beliefs or not. i dont see what your problem is. Personally i think its a pile of 'orse ****.

You should be pleased to know that someone assaulted the wax works over the weekend and it’s now closed.

Wow! I requested tandy to attack Madame Tussauds using a plane, but my post got deleted, but I bet he saw it before PCG vapourized it! Good job Tandy!

So to show his displeasure at the lack of respect these wax figures represent, this protestor punches the figures repeatedly. Yeah, makes a lot of sense.

^ :rotfl: that was funny… so he “punched” the wax figures? whats that gonna do? are they gonna place red wax as blood on the figures now?

some people… sheesh

i guess since its wax, he damaged them and now they are removed..haha.. i m happy…

This museum is in Britian, not the khilafah. Not saying you shouldn't have an opinion, just don't expect it to matter. How are the 2.2 billion Christians supposed to react to the morphing of their saviour into the bit player that he is in the Quran which negates all his teachings? Same thing. It's not their belief and not their business.
[/QUOTE]

So even though Muslims are a significant minority in UK there opinions should'nt matter.
Clearly you dont beleive in democracy, you must be a facist from the sounds of it.

No, I'm saying if Muslims want to migrate to western countries they need to realize they aren't bringing the khilafah with them, trying to negate thousands of years of non-Muslim history. That means if a Dutch filmmaker wants to practice his freedom of speech, Muslim immigrants need to know they can't kill him because they are offended.

Besides, as I've said throughout this thread - this was a Christian nativity scene, using Christian history as inspiration. The Jesus, Mary and Joseph of the Bible are not the same figures as those in the Quran. You can't change everything Jesus stood for and still claim the Christian figures as Muslim.

i just protested at the scene didnt i? did i just go and murder the owner of the museum? so i cant even declare my feelings about things i see?

If this were a Muslim display or even a Christian display in a Muslim land, I could understand your anger, offense and need to protect the honor of a revered holy figure. And I can sympathize where your exasperation comes from that Christians don't feel the same way you do about this respect.

But what I don't understand is why you take so much offense for a display that has nothing to do with your Maryam and Eesa. That makes as much sense as a Christian being offended at the Quran for re-writing their history while claiming their saviour and negating all his teachings. Would you be as understanding if I were raising cain in Pakistan about the defamation of Jesus?

If you are a citizen of a democracy then of course you are premitted to declare your feelings. But you talk of your responsibility to show your anger when a holy person is dishonored. That type of thinking has lead to people being harrassed and killed for freedom of speech.

**My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry - James 1:19 **

Did that verse from Jesus make it to the Quran?

dude just because all of the saying of jesus werent included in quran doesnt mean we dont believe in same jesus as you.

you think this verse "insults" jesus or degrades jesus??

And He (Allâh) will teach him 'Iesa (jesus)] the Book and Al-Hikmah (the faultless speech of the Prophets, wisdom, etc.), (and) the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel). (Aali Imran 3:48)

or does this verse some how belittle him by attributing his miracles to God?

And will make him 'Iesa (jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allâh's Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allâh's Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe. (Aali Imran 3:49)

or may be this verse speaks volumes of how quran defamed jesus?
And (remember) when Allâh said: "O 'Iesa (jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allâh) superior to those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute." (Aali Imran 3:55)

And there is none of the people of the Scripture, but must believe in him 'Iesa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allâh and a human being],before his 'Iesa (jesus) or a Jew's or a Christian's] death. And on the Day of Resurrection, he 'Iesa (jesus)] will be a witness against them (An-Nisa 4:159)

i would like to end this post by this verse from allah

O people of the Scripture! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allâh aught but the truth. The Messiah 'Iesa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was a Messenger of Allâh and His Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rûh) created by Him; so believe in Allâh and His Messengers. Say not: "Three!" Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allâh is One Ilâh (God), Glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allâh is All_Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs. (An-Nisa 4:171)

verily we believe in the same jesus so you should understand our feelings for him , if muslims ever make fun of or mock jesus or any other prophets revered in judaism and christianity they cease to be muslims, so if you want to condemn them you will be joining majority of the muslims on this issue, so your prophets' honor are protected by us but our last prophet's honor is not protected by some christians unfortunately.
