beckham in nativity scene

^dont waste your time on his Fox "News" warped mind. Once they were done with him all we are playing with are leftovers.....

I dont know who picked the people for this scene but there are some really stupid choices.
George Bush a wiseman hahahhaha, now thats a strech.

Calling people whores, prostitutes and such names really helps your mr.islam image on GS a lot.

ok and victoria bekham is a singer/celebrity and we all know that singers esp. in western country are “sexually promiscuous” and get money to show their flesh. so it is perfectly ok to call her a whore.

oh please - are u seriously defending yourself with dictionary dot com?

The word is a blatant insult, and you know that.

"we need to show our anger when ever her honor is desecrated."

Thandymazak - thora thanda paani pheelo.

You've gotta be kidding me with this statement. Where are u getting this kind of statement from?

so you are saying we should not care if any one comes and desecrates our religious fgures? you have no feelings if you see prophets' and other respected figures' honor destroyed ? some one must have no honor to have this kind of feeling. you can continue calling it freedom of expression and live in the kufr with out criticizing it. for me i will try to defend their honor by atleast talking against it .
this is my last post regarding this topic, i m through talking with kafirs regarding honor, since they have none they cant understand me.

^ Disagreeing with it, condeming it is all on one side.

However, your tone is of sheer hatred and its offensive. It reeks of emotion. So try to be more ratoinal and diplomatic. Use terms like "I do not agree with this display", or "I condemn these images", etc...

Language plays a major part in how you come across.

your post makes so much sense...NOT...what the hell does punishment for adultry have to do with respect for religious figures?

Because you are ignorantly calling this woman (and all western singer/celebrities) a whore for one. And one of the many things that makes the Jesus of the Quran and the Biblical Jesus NOT the same person was his acceptance of all people, including prostitutes. These figures represent the Joseph and Mary of the Bible, not the Quran so they aren't disrespecting your religous figures. And since 1)Christians probably don't consider this woman a prostitute and, 2)Even if they do, their Jesus accepted prostitutes into his fold where yours doesn't, these wax figures shouldn't concern you. You are living in a Christian dominated society where the interpretation of Jesus, Mary and Joseph is not the same as yours.

Posh must be given some credit, her marriage with Becks has lasted for a while now despite the media projecting an early divorce, they have two kids I think, one more about to join in. They have plans to get an entire football team ready too ;)

Islam allows anyone to enter into it, regardless of whatever sins they may have commited in the past, which are all forgiven on conversion.

Also theres a famous hadith of the Prophet :saw: where he said that a Prostitute would enter heaven cause she showed mercy to a dog.

PCG didnt you call someone a slut in another thread? Wasnt that also a insult?
Not that Im defending any types of insults aimed at anyone.

Anyway Posh Spice is not the one known to be sleeping around, infact that would be David Beckham.

But Jesus and Christianity doesn't promote stoning or beating adulterers even after conversion. The tolerance even for a non-prostitute but an independent woman who isn't wearing hijab and cowtowing to men is absent in a lot of the Muslim world as evidenced by the hateful posts by ThandyMazaq and others in this thread.

The question is not what Jesus and Christianity promotes, because Christianity was out-dated when Islam was revealed. Ofcourse, a Muslim has to have faith in Hazrat Isa :as:, but he has to follow the Islamic rulings only. For us, all that matters is what Quran and Sunnah bring to us.

P.S. When Hazrat Isa :as: will return to earth, he will do so as a Muslim and not as a Christian. He will be a member of the Muslim Ummah and a follower of Hazrat Muhammad :saw:

^ That's great. But those are you beliefs, not the beliefs of the 2.2 billion Christians of the world. My only point in bringing this up is the Jesus, Mary and Joseph recognized by Christians has nothing to do with the Islamic version. So likewise, neither do these wax figures. If they did Madame Tussaud could be put to death.

And we are supposed to act according to our beliefs and not the 2.2 billion Christian population’s belief. And our belief says that making pictures and statues of Prophets :as: is blasphemy. What else will be our reaction?

This museum is in Britian, not the khilafah. Not saying you shouldn't have an opinion, just don't expect it to matter. How are the 2.2 billion Christians supposed to react to the morphing of their saviour into the bit player that he is in the Quran which negates all his teachings? Same thing. It's not their belief and not their business.

When Quran asks to “Amar-Bil-Maroof-Nahi-Anil-Munkar”, that makes every matter on earth a Muslim’s business. Ofcourse, due to geographical and physical boundaries, there are limits to which one can react. However, the aspiration of Islam is to be able to matter at each and every inch of this world. InShaAllah, that will happen before the end of the world.

It sounds (‘bit player’??) like you feel that Quran does an injustice (naoozubillah) to Hazrat Isa :as:. Is that correct?

according to islam if we see a wrong we should change it with out hands, if cant do it then talk against it and if even that is not possible then dont accept it in our hearts and that is the least of iman. so i am trying to say against it so i can have an excuse with Allah on day of judgement that o allah i spoke against it but i could not change it so forgive me for witnessing such a bad act (among millions i have seen) and not changing it...wallah o alam

haha you are so damn igonorant. Last I checked muslims are a very significant and large minority in the UK. Muslims are easily the 2nd largest religion in the UK. Why would'nt there opinions matter? Whats wrong you dont believe in democracy?

dont try to act like you are the sole representative of christians…did you even read the bbc link i posted? even christian groups were outraged…so go act like pope somewhere else but dont act surprised when even some christians have different views than your liberal gay loving attitude.

and one more incident like this, christians are again outraged over GAY jesus…now tell me jesus :as: was gay? nauzubillah. he was the rasul of Allah and he did not disobey him. bible is clear in condeming gays but the liberal gay loving elite will shove its views on the common public for its own desires.

LONDON, England (Reuters) – A group of Christian protesters in Scotland has called on police to prosecute a theater company for blasphemy because it is putting on a play about a gay Jesus.

“If there is a blasphemy like this, Christians have to stand up,” said Stephen Green of Christian Voice who protested outside a theatre showing Terence McNally’s controversial play “Corpus Christi” at St Andrews University.

“Jesus Christ is being portrayed here as a foul-mouthed, drunken, promiscuous homosexual and that is an insult to my faith,” Green told BBC Radio.

But the play’s director, Zsuzsi Lyndsay, defended the production: “He is not portrayed as a drunken foulmouth. He doesn’t say one bad word throughout the play.”

Christian Voice was not placated. It has formally lodged a complaint with police, arguing that the American playwright’s work was blasphemous. No decision has been taken yet.

I don't pretend to speak for Christians and I understand that some are upset with this display, I think it's tacky myself. I am just saying, whether Islam is the 2nd largest religion in UK or not, stop getting your panties in a wad over a Christian nativity scene. If a Muslim can dictate what's acceptable in a Christian display, then surely a non-Muslim Dutch filmaker can decide what parts of a body can have the Quran inscribed on it. If you can tell people how to celebrate or interpret their religion, then why shouldn't others use their ideals to interpret yours?

Where does the imposition of (your) "Islamic ideals" stop, when anyone who practices their freedom that offends your sanctimony has to fear for their life because of a fatwa or deranged, knife-wielding radical?

Just because there is a growing number of Muslims in the UK doesn't mean that is going to change aspects such as freedom of speech and religion. Your desires to have the "aspiration of Islam matter at each and every inch of this world" and impose Islamic values in places like the UK makes as much sense and as haughty as a Christian wanting a church on every street in Pakistan. Or a western secularlist expecting modern freedoms to be implemented in the Arab pennisula.
