Beauty myths

  1. Chai peenay sey rang kala ho jaata hai (drinking tea makes your complexion dark)

  2. Eat a day old roti when you are pregnant. It will make your child fair.

  3. Don’t do massage with mustard oil as it will make your skin dark.

Please share more, and share the validity of some :hmmm:

Re: Beauty myths

The oil making you darker thing could be true - I've heard that many girls here in the UK use baby oil and other such oils on their bodies before going out to sunbathe and this works by making them tan faster... obviously it's very dangerous to do this as oil contains no sun protection at all, but for brown skin they are willing to take the risk lol

Re: Beauty myths

So who puts a baby out in the sun to tan after a massage :aq:?
