Beauty myths

Re: Beauty myths

I guess the desi logic would be that baby being out and about without adequate sun protection would become darker as a result of having oil applied to its body lol... can you imagine their shock to find that their gora chita grandson now has a tan!!

Re: Beauty myths

Chocolate makes you breakout
If a woman eats coconut when she's preganant her child turns out to be fair. I haven't seen anyone follow this yet so I can't really comment on the validity lol

“Chocolate makes you breakout”
Is it a myth??? :e6:

i wish it wasnt a myth…then we wud have been given a licence to eat :yummy:

Yes it does, cos you're FRYING your skin.

Re: Beauty myths

**1) **Chitta milk peenay se rangat gori ho jayegi

2) Chocolate milk peenay se rangat chocolate ki tarha ho jayegi

That's why there should be a balance....

Opt for strawberry milk....for rosy cheeks.

Re: Beauty myths

LOL i just remembered another one. using the white lux to wash your face will give you gora rung.

Re: Beauty myths

and after that, use tibet snow to make your face glow :@:

Tibet Snow....I saw some once in Pak. Greasy stuff I think.

I have lived with someone who thought that using FAIR & LOVELY will make him fair:rotfl:

Don’t be so surprised. Some desi guys do use Fair n Lovely.

Re: Beauty myths

good ones there ladies :P

I think it is the opposite..
Cooking with and Massaging hair with Coconut oil is good for the health and keeps hair your its natural colour for longer

1) Don't pull out a white hair as two will grow back in it's place.
What a load of cobblers!
2) You don't need to use sunscreen if it's cloudy outside.
Harmful UV rays can penetrate through glass (which is why you can get a tan in the car) so of course they'll penetrate through clouds.
3) You can reduce your pore size.
Not true, pore size is gentically predetermined, the only thing you can do is make sure they're clear and clean.
