You cannot compare Lahore and Karachi when it comes to ethnicity. 80% of Lahore is Punjab and around 5-10% are Urdu speakers. In Karachi there are more than 7 million Pathans and like 6-7 million Urdu speakers. You can call them a mafia but what that “mafia” has done for Karachi no ANP, PPP party has done in it’s lifetime.
ANP leader also vowed to turn Karachi into Kabul which we can see happening.

Well this is not the first time happening in Karachi, it was taken over by the mohajirs in 1947 peacefully from the Sindhis…it was NOT a mohajir city before Pakistan…
