Shogran is full of strawberries, and they tasted so good, Im surprised you didnt come across any. The cherries in gilgit are amazing too, did you try those?
Well never visited Gilgit so can't say about cherries and Shogran is not that Shogran now as the dense forest of pines is almost non existant now:(

Yeah it is not only beautiful it is mesmerizing when you see it in actaual it can't be described in words you have to be there to feel the beauty:) Planning to hike Fairy Meadows, again, in the next month (June) Inshahallah. This time will also try to attach a vedio movie:)
