Yeah it is really a dream land and to get into it you have to pass through the pictures in post 1 and I think this thing also makes it more beautiful.........you can't imagine such a beautiful place hidden inside these rocky barren black mountains while standing at the start point at Rai Kot Bridge.......and once you have first look of lush green mountains after moving into the mountains for almost 04 hours the beauty you see can't be described in words you have to be there to behold that beauty...................:) I pray to Allah that you get a chance to go there and see the heaven on earth yourself.........Ameeen:)

are these recently? Beautiful.. What are the "safe" places to visit in Northern Pakistan that are scenic? I think I heard its not so safe in Sawat?

Yeah Sawat is not safe for travel these days but you can travel to Naran, Kaghan, Sogran, Siri Paiy, Lake Saif ul Malook as well as this Fairy Meadows. More over you can safely visit Sakardu, Gilgit and its surroundings:) The media world wide shows as all the Pakistan in under some sort of war which is not true you can visit all the places listed by me safely:) Just don't go Swat for the time being:)

Shogran is full of strawberries, and they tasted so good, Im surprised you didnt come across any. The cherries in gilgit are amazing too, did you try those?
