Now that we are done glamorizing death. Lets deal with the reality. This couple has passed away and left 2 devastated families. Both mothers would be crying for the next few months, walking into their childrens room, looking at their things and realizing they will never see them again. Parents would be lamenting why the hell did they let them get on the flight. Why did they have to go today. Tomorrow would have been fine.

Death is not glamorous. It is not great. It is not a gift. It is a punishment to every single family member that survives. Sisters who will never see their brother again, never get to talk to them never ask for advice etc.

This concept in Pakistan that death is a gift from Allah survives only to punish the rest of the families even more.

Some other time, some other thread, we can have this discussion.
