Now that we are done glamorizing death. Lets deal with the reality.This couple has passed away and left 2 devastated families. Both mothers would be crying for the next few months, walking into their childrens room, looking at their things and realizing they will never see them again. Parents would be lamenting why the hell did they let them get on the flight. Why did they have to go today. Tomorrow would have been fine.
Death is not glamorous. It is not great. It is not a gift. It is a punishment to every single family member that survives. Sisters who will never see their brother again, never get to talk to them never ask for advice etc.
This concept in Pakistan that death is a gift from Allah survives only to punish the rest of the families even more.

agree there were lots of families on that plane childre etc what makes these two deaths more important then the others???? simply cos the couple was beautiful?

The loss of so many lives has touched so many people in many different ways. I really don't know what to say, i'm lost for words. I agree with what muzna has said but it is still really really sad and tragic - esp for all those left behind including children or parents of those ambitious young students, saddened grandparents and many other relatives.
I've mentioned this in the other thread about the guy named Naveed Ilyas; my hubby's best friend from school who also passed away in this unfortunate incident.. such a lively and jolly person as i've heard from many people who left msgs on his facebook page even though i never knew him. he had his 1st wedding anniversary on the 25th july and a baby daughter around 2 weeks ago. His continuous updates on facebook showed how happy he was, how excited he was!! i can't even begin to imagine what his parents and wife must be going through!!

We just came to know that someone from our residential block has also passed away in the plane crash. There were a large number of people outside his home , they are still waiting for the body to be found. Most probably he was from the crew :(

Its not a concept in pakistan, its what muslims generally beleive, that death is from allah, and everyones time is written. this is a faith we have, and what griveing people hold onto. atheists would call it a punishment, people who have no faith in life after death. we know whats going to happen after death, as our faith tells us, and because of that belief we move on. to be honest, i would prefer to have the thinking that his/her time was up, allah knows best. then to grive forever and cry forever and keep asking why`....its our belief that helps us move on. and i dont think we should knock it.
