Mashallah. Three weeks into the Emergency President Musharraf is stronger than ever, whilst BB has blundered into the background. The Army, America and Awam are not opposing President Musharraf, but are still with him.
Quote: *Just three weeks after pushing Pakistan into the second emergency rule of his eight-year reign, President Gen Pervez Musharraf appears to have survived the strongest challenge yet to his hold on power. The Pakistan Army is still standing solidly behind him, the United States is ‘’pretty comfortable’’ with the situation and his fractious political supporters are busy in getting their act together for the elections. *
*Based on this recovered confidence, anchored in American and Army support, President Musharraf is now getting ready to step down as Chief of Army Staff within the next few days, say his associates. *
If the awam were with the dictator he would not have needed to impose emergency to save his kursi and brutalise people and throw them in jails. Says it all.
Brother, I do not think that BB really did any blunder. What she had to do any blunder? Actually, she got away with crimes against Pakistan because of NRO. She did not do any blunder, she knows that money is power in Pakistan, so she skimmed Pakistan from all the wealth she can and on now using that wealth, she bought media, lawyers, western governments (as most western governments rely on donations), and is now intending to buy poor of Pakistan, so that she can get to power and accumulate more wealth.
As for Musharraf, his strength is with armed forces and whatever he is doing, it is with consensus of armed forces. Actually he could have done a lot if he did not cared about people, but his weakness is that he thinks a lot about misguided people of Pakistan supporting past corrupts.
If I was in Musharraf shoe, I would not have cared for anyone and would have brought a law that anyone in government service or in public office who is living (or seen spending) beyond their means could be arrested and thus have to prove in court where he got his resources, and if that person could not justify their living and spending, than they get hanged and all their wealth confiscated. Than under this law, I would have hanged most of corrupt politicians and corrupt government servants.

By blunder probably Aalsi meant "politically" for potentially becoming next PM again.
Now for the bolded part, weren't you and others suggesting that it was just a political game and Benazir is not going to get anything out of it.... so what changed since then?

bhai sahib, only if NAB's wings are not clipped they can get to that point too, but since our political pool has so many bad fish it will take them years to get there (if not hindered by govt too).
Supreme Court validating PCO, Emergency and Musharraf’s Presidency.
Judges and media falling into line.
Opposition politicians now taking part in the General Election.
BB sidelined, and Nawaz coming back to slash her votebank in Punjab.
Key foreign governments openly supportive of Musharraf or indifferent to the Emergency.
The great Pakistani Armed Forces solidly behind their Commander-in-Chief.
