Thats sad but I have one message for that girl, shes better off without a husband and in laws who think like that. She should be glad that she found out their characters before marrying him because it would be so much harder afterwards. I know she probably feels cheated but its better to forgive and move on.

Everyone cannot enter a thread with serius mood. You should allow people to do some shughal bazi also.

This strictness or condition of "only serious replies please" starts ugly fights. Go to Life and see what happens there. People literaly hate each other .. why? Cause only serious replies are allowed. You joke around a little there, and people start complaining.

I agree with u on what u said. For boy’s mom, their son is pure angel and its a girl who is to be blamed to pollute his mind.

Problem is of very unfortunate nature. Women, in general, dont like other women. That is it. Please dont take me wrong but that is true.

Why do you thing that Saas/Bahu fights are such a big isue all over the world, though we heardly hear about Susuar/Damad conflicts

DO you know that in america, who is most mazloom. Its a young, able body, white, american christian, male ..

double standards are everywhere, not just in desi culture. since ur a desi urself so you have to show ur true desi colors by criticizing desi ppl n culture. i just did that and i’m very proud of it. :chai: as for islam n equal rights…well equal rights is not the only thing muslims hardly follow…99.99% of islam is only for others to follow..we can pick n chose as required/needed.

It’s a pity that in our culture sons are mainly preferred over daughters because when they grow up they are expected to become your life support. Nothing wrong in that …the only problem is when they are mistreated if a little imbalance happens and are constantly reminded of their inability of fulfil the demands of parents, their siblings, etc., and then the wife too complains about her needs not being met. In some cases, I have seen that it is a daily judgement routine, like what have you done for me today! I tell ya, men have it bad.

But like PG said, at the end of the day it is the bahu’s fault. :smack:

I wonder what kind of a mother in law I would be if I had a son?
