No hope , It looks a calculated alliance with keeping JI in mind that's why Sindh is is not included . Ji is going to finalize their candidates and they will get more quota in South Punjab perhaps .
Re: Battle for Lahore.
I clarified this for you in another thread. I will do so again.
The latest survey was NOT conducted by IRI. It was conducted by a Pakistani company, IPOR, which was hired by PML-N to conduct the survey. In other words, IPOR would be foolish to show a paying client in a bad light.
While I do not disagree with the fact that PTIs publicity has gone down in recent months, it is certainly not out of the picture, and the competition is still very much between PTI and PML-N. PPP will be a factor only with a very heavy, and shaky alliance. Just look at the last couple of months, and you will get an idea of the shaky grounds they are on. MQM, PML-Q and JUI-F have parted ways with them on many points, and this does not bode well for them.
I remember an old interview of Imran where he was goaded about how PTI could expect to go it alone and not make an alliance with anyone. And in response, he said that if I can ever think of any party to make an alliance with, it would be JI, because 1)they dont have any corrupt history and 2)they have a democratic organization, and not a family LLC

But JI is trying to create a religious apartheid in the country. I don't think an Ahmadi or a shia can become an office bearer in this party. Moreover they are the pioneers of student violence in the country. I would seriously rethink my decision to vote for PTI in the next election if they form an alliance with JI.. Form me they are a party of religious fascist..
Re: Battle for Lahore.
Yeah , I also remember the event which pushed Imran to establishment camp and spoiled his politics ,
That was too JI .

Jamaat e Islami is what it is, not hypocrites like JUIF. They have vote bank in KP. It would make sense for PTI to forge an alliance with them in KP and Punjab and PKMAP in Balochistan.

who ever takes Lahore, it won't be PPP for sure. It's good that PPPs allies have sensed the eventuality.

Parting ways with the PPP will be enough to right the wrong of standing with the man who destroyed the country? ANP and PML-Q would have to pay the cost while MQM is a different story...
Re: Battle for Lahore.
^ I think pmlq and anp would lose seats in the next elections. It's too late now, but still it would be suicidal for any party to go into the elections with PPP as allies.

Even though ANP has openly stated they wont go into an electoral alliance with PPP, and similar vibes are coming from MQM as well, but keep in mind that alliances are usually formed after elections. It is then that all the vultures sniff around for who gives them a bigger piece of meat, and I still think that there is a fair chance MQM and ANP will ally with PPP in a flash if they find that their mutual seats will be enough for a govt. These 3 parties have a lot in common, so we will have to wait and see.
Re: Battle for Lahore.
^ yes that's true, but PPP won't win enough seats in this elections. It would be interesting to see what kind of situation arises say if pmln wins the elections.
