and i have o shame in admitting we use to 
play
** gudaa gudi ki shadi ** one of my cousin had a gudaa and we had a guddi. we would get them married do their mendhi, shadi and then valima … the entire process of 3 days… and everytime we got mad at my cousin i was over at her house and went - Mujhee meri guryaa wapis karo - and she would go yes wese bhi hum ko tumhari gurya ko divorce dini hai and throw my gurya out the window - after few months same process
oh i remember those dolak parties if we couldnt find dholki we would use dadi ami’s sewing machine’s cover another instrument was chamca and pateeli
we would even create jaheez for both of them… and buy tiny things for bazaar for her jaheez.. make their bed… put kinaari no the dupata

we used to play school school…
and being eldest in my siblings n cousins i always played the ‘teacher’ role…
And the class used to have 5 % real students…rest of 95% were fantasy
so one day taking rol call i just called ‘Quaid-e-azam’ …a cousin said ‘present’ on his behalf
next name was ‘Allama Iqbal’ …n another told ‘miss…woh paani peenay gya hua hay’

koh koh (the one with two teams and one team is crouched on the floor and the other team is running around them playing tag....(something like that))
koklachipachi (i have NO idea what it is caled..something like that....but Farida Pervaiz sings a song about it..its that game where we all sit in a circle and pass a duppatta behind our backs, and then run around the circle)
peeto garam (the one where one team has to knock down all the rocks and tries to put them back again, and the other team has to try to hit the other team with the ball.....)...we still actually do play this at centeniall park...lol...

which reminds me, when i was young , my cousins used to chase me aroudn the park calling me medusa...aurghh!!!!!

my guess: so that serious ppl of Life-1 don’t forget their touchy side, and abt life-1 like thrads in cafe … so that those kids have some perspective too while growing up …

My mother tried her level best. She got me guddies and her clothes etc. but I used to trash it, together with my brother just beating each other … lolz … guess just wasn’t my type, played ghar ghar though and even school-school 
Oh, and I used to drive the school-bus …lol
