Naalaaiq laRkay BataaouN is different and Bengan is different.

WiseGuy Sahib: I am talking about when I was in grade 5th or 6th. And by that time, I had read the urdu curriculum books till Board of Intermediate education along with several prominent urdu writers from Mushtaq Yousufi to Karnal Muhammad Khan to Shafiq-ur-Rehman etc. Not to mention that Qissa-e-Chahaar Dervaish by Meer Amman Dehlvi had a part Khuajaa Sug Parast in urdu book of F.Sc.
I am very much proud to say that my urdu diction has been quite better than average than any given person in my age group during that time. I've been awarded couple of awards on writting skills when I wrote MuqaalaY in urdu when I was'nt even in metric.
And, let me know what bataaouN is in your vocabulary :p ?

if i hadnt read this thread i would have not known what a Bataouyn is. another such word that i didnt know of is ghiyya aka tori.... i always heard 'tori' but recently found out that another word for tori is ghiyya.
