Yes it’s all fun and what not to bash each other, ridicule each others’ websites, claim to be better than one another, make new nicks everyday and pretend to be ‘interested’ customers to promote your own sites but it’s getting quite pathetic and goes against the rules of GS.
It’s quite noticeable how some people have been creating nicks and coming straight here with their first post. If you want to promote your work or your site then why not do it the proper way? Post pictures of what you have to offer and advertise your website instead of putting down other vendors here, calling them names, using profanity and acting like idiots. If this is how you act then I wonder who would want to be your customer. If you can act so *****y with your competitors, what respect will you give to your potential clients? After they place the orders with you, is this how disrespectfully you’re going to treat them?
I was somewhat convinced that these fashion veer/khaas boutique produce some good work until all the shiznit started and now I don’t think I even want to deal with such ‘designers’- good work or not, reasonably priced or not. I would rather spend a bit more money than be treated in such a crappy way. The customer service skills I have seen are totally zero and really pathetic. Hopefully this is not how your current customers are treated but then who knows.
I think the mods need to ban such people and delete their posts as this is doign nothing but ruining the whole image of GS.
I agree with a lot of the things you've mentioned.
Designers should try to maintain a great sense of professionalism and social decorum at all times... and specially when they are faced with criticism. We have had quite a heated discussion going on in the other thread and there are some who should have perhaps practiced a little more restraint in conveying their frustration, etc... though, I understand how difficult that can be at times.

Shay, desis have no sense of customer service period! I remember once a while back someone said that for a desi business, a customer is a nuisance…rather than welcomed. While there are a few very legitimate people here, just the lack of manners and sense these people have shows exactly how legit their business is. Remember teh thread in bridal, about how she started calling us pea-brainS??

I guess as far as I know of GS policies, there is nothing wrong even you are affiliated with a company and promote the products properly ..
Using multiniks to endorse your own product becomes very obvious by others and always results in adversity .. a bad promotion .. I must say ..
so if someone is doing that .. that may not directly be violating any GS policy .. but really .. hurting their own business .. cause other Guppies are not stuipd and can see through that..
Using your multi, to bad mouth other's products is very unethical ..
Sometimes its not easy to pinpoint multis through IP address also but atleast 2 of the nicks posting in those threads were multi.
Wait, am I being accused of working for or being affiliated with Fashion Veer? Confused… Forgive me for I am a little slow.
Anyway, if there is anyone on here who thinks I am an employee of Fashion Veer then that is just too darn bad. I could sit here and start raving and ranting but I’ll leave that to those who have got the energy to do so… I personally would much rather take the higher road and simply ignore the accusations.

unfortunately GS can’t do much about it as we never know for sure if somebody is legitimate or not but atleast users/Mods should ask the poster to show image or backup their argument if somebody is talking about any businesses products in real.
i was even surprised in this thread http://paklinks.com/gs/showthread.php?t=282848 when someone posted her so-called experience with us and after my repeated insistence on providing proof of purchase and her failure none (mods & users) even bothered to back up my case that atleast she should prove it.
as far as prices, policies, general feedback concerned its alright one can talk about that and agree or disagree.
I honestly don’t understand why things have gotten to this point. I believe there is enough room for 100’s of competitors to showcase their work on here and obtain potential clients… so, there really is no need for anyone of the companies to create multiple nicknames and play these rather puerile games to sway the opinions of the general members one way or another.
Their work will speak for themselves and their sense of professionalism will suffice as far as “advertising and marketing” are concerned.
As I have mentioned previously, I am quite a nervous/skeptical person when it comes to making [substantially] big purchases online so after having joing GS I figured I’d do a little “research” and see if I’d be able to connect with any of the companies… in doing so if I have made it seem like I am in any way singing the praises of one company and bashing another, then I apologize.
Anyway, once again… all these different companies can compete with one another all they want… so long as it’s done in a professional, mature, and honest way.

Junaid, unless it appears as a spam, GS has no reason to challenge someone's claim by asking them to post a picture. GS is not an Ecommerce website, nor its a middle man portal (such as ebay) where we are required to verify customers or vendors reputation.
I would advice everyone to use GS for what it is. A forum to exchange info.

Well .. I'm Hira from Fashion Veer ... I guess things were calm here before I joined in ... the only reason I came here was to clear the air between Junaid and him thinking that cat cat works for me.
Secondly .. the work preti posted is just .. sad .. I mean seriously not even a road side boutique sells this stuf and I have no idea how she can claim this work is mine!
Thirdly... Shabraz ordered from me a week back and while she was online a few days back she came across this forum and called me to talk about what was going on ... I tried my best to make her feel comfortable and afterwards she joined in to share her experience so far .. which is just customer service .. and she clearly posted that she'll get back to you guys when her order gets delivered. Shab isnt working for me so I would really appreciate it if she doesnt get dragged into this mess. I appreciate her goodwill and Afsoon's aswell for ordering from me and keeping calm even after reading all these posts.
I would like to request the admin to get rid of these posts as they have gotten out of hand and some how Fashion Veer is coming out to be a B***h which it really really isnt!

as for between me and cat cat atleast it wasnt indusmart vs fashion veer but me vs cat cat as i considered it as my right to ask the information if someones says he was our customer.
although it does gives someone bad name but still shouldnt matter much because you must be aware of not every one would agree on single outfit no matter if it is perfect. even if you made something perfect and customer doesnt like it he/she would say it isnt right no matter to her if 100 others say otherwise.
see how much bargello is bashed here does it affect them not much i guess but certainly it can add to their image either positive or negative.
InshAllah we both are here to stay (in business) many customers would come and go, for many we would go extra mile in hope next time would reap the reward and that next time never comes , for many we would do average and he/she would be our best customer.

there is enough room for everyone just how much share one gets depends upon their strategy and i am really bad at it .
one more thing to add its my observation if we have 100 satisfied customer only 4-7 would appreciate by taking initiative and out of 100 unsatisfied customer 90 would always be at forefront not to waste a minute to take class.
its a human nature same goes for us too.
