Baseball 2007

'Tis April…

  1. A-Rod is on fire and Yankees have lost 5 in a row
  2. Red Sox are hot and St Louis is cold
  3. Bonds is chasing Aaron and Giants are on a 7 game winning streak
  4. America’s past time is here again

Re: Baseball 2007

that Japanese dude whom the red sox have signed recently..is starting to get on my nerves..i mean really..he’s not all that good:disgust:

Re: Baseball 2007

Astros suck as usual at the beginning of the season

Re: Baseball 2007

bump

Re: Baseball 2007

Cubs are surging back. Looks like the fight really helped them. On the other hand, White Sox are the biggest let down of this season. Still nobody gives a rat ass about Barry Bonds.

Re: Baseball 2007

^ actually they do, that is why that melon headed cheater is headed to the All Star game... thanks to the perverted San Fransicko's. I hope he breaks his leg during the game and cannot play again.

Re: Baseball 2007

^ I know. I think Bud Selig is waiting for the ultimate fan backlash. Other than that, he may go on to play next season to break Hank Aaron's record.

he gets injured, than comes back to hit a home run just to make sure next game he has sore (fill in the blanks).

Re: Baseball 2007

It would have been a farce if Barry Bonds wasn't on the All-Star team in his own stadium.

Re: Baseball 2007

White Sox lost to Twins 20-14 in first and 12-0 in second game.

Re: Baseball 2007

Barry Bonds or no Bonds... SF Giants are pathetic this season so far. And with Barry's giant salary eating them up I don't see them doing anything worth while this season. Its a bunch of old players whose game is just hanging by a wing and a prayer. We have no closer, ace is extremely unreliable, bullpen is weak and hitters are struggling. What a perfect storm!

Re: Baseball 2007

Why will it be a farce? Allstar selection depends on your stats in the first half, I can list several outfielders who had similar or better stats than Mr. Melon head. He is a disgrace to the game of baseball, just like McGuire, Rafeal Palmero and Sammy Sosa are.

Re: Baseball 2007

Well, its quite obvious why it would have been a farce. Barry Bonds is about to break the most vaunted record in baseball (which, from the looks of it, MLB WILL recognize), thus has been the biggest story this entire season. How would it look when such a player is absent from the showcase of players fans want to see the most?

And isn't he the only Giant on the roster? Even if he isn't, he is the only one deserving to be on the roster from the Giants and every team has to have atleast one representative.

And how about A-Rod? He is just tearing up the league right now. A lot of players around the league would be happy to accumulate 30 homeruns in two season. Might as well give him the MVP trophy at the ASG. Too bad the Skankees will end up missing the playoffs, but atleast A-Rod is playing well!

Re: Baseball 2007

Really? Name me 3 outfielders on the NL who are having a better season than Bonds. I tried to answer my own question but I couldn't.

Re: Baseball 2007

Derek Lee hits a 3-run home run. Cubs sweep Astros and are 47-43.

Re: Baseball 2007

Mark Cuban, his team does well in regular season but chokes in playoffs.

Re: Baseball 2007

He also bought a garbage team and turned them into championship contenders for many years.
