Who are you to tell anyone what islam is and how one should follow their religion? Islam is not a social gathering, it is a belief that people have, which is very personal. I hate people who preach! STFU and move your ass to saudi arabia. We need to line up every mullah in pakistan and blow their brains out. They are destroying our culture and taking away our freedom. Its always people like you who walk around preaching about whats islamic and whats not, but chances are that your an uneucated fool who has no indepth study of islam and gained all your info from some goat at the madrassah. There is not room in pakistan for extremist.

People in Sub-Continent (esp. Women) - due to lack of knowledge and understand - when go to Mazaars tend to offer dua to the person buried instead of Allah[SWT]. Although I have not lived for a long time in Pakistan, however I have myself witnessed People say: Go to such and such Mazaar and offer prayer and you will get Pregnant . Such Ignorance of Hindu and Pagan tradition!.**
The same thing occurs at Hajj: When People try to kiss or Touch The Kabaa - I feel sorry for these people; May Allah Increase their Knowledge and Understanding.

There are issues about safety and danger to life and that should be sorted out..

There are more than numerous examples where its clear that it is not derived from hindus.. it came from China and spread all over the world.. in punjab muslims, hindus and sikhs alike adopted it at the festival of spring.. look at the pic.. just posting few pics out of context from millions that are just plain is an exageration.. I have so many hindu friends and no one ever mentioned it as a religious thing.. as far as the false thing as attributing it to some blesphemy is so absurd as it is been celebrated by muslims long before that thing happened during mughal period.. and if some one follow some rascal idiot mullah its their path.. i will call all mullah who profess hatred as rascals.. plus i have never seen any of ur or laeeq's post when some jahils go on killing minorities like christians, burn temples/churches after getting fatwas from the same mullas.. plus arab culture my foot.. arabs are tyhe most wretched people on earth - how they treat other muslims and minorities is far off from islam.. best muslims i have seen are Malaysians..

I am also listening to your opinion and support for the Basant/jashan-e-Baharan festival. I do not have a problem with that. This is a discussion forum where every member has the right to express... I do not support basant at all because of the reason I gave in my post. You also expressed your opinions, but the difference is that many like you go act like extremists and start mullah bashing and call people narrow minded. Where do mullahs come into this? ......... I haven't even seen or heard a mullah in years...... Whatever I say is my own.

You can do whatever and think whatever you want....but who gave you the right to call someone "idiot" ... Is that what your moderation is all about???

Although I highly dislike this festival but I would not call you names. I can call you stuff which would be rubbish but thats not my way. Plus, I never said and never beilever that Arabic culture is superior. In my opinion, no culture is superior. All cultures are good as long as they do not become more important than religion-Islam. So even arabs have certain cultures which are non -Islamic. They are equally condemnable.

1) You have posted pics with hindu gods as suggesting that all basant kites are fashioned in these pics !!!! In fact kites are made in thousands of shapes and sizes with pics ranging from moon, cattoon for kids, flags of countries, political party flags in Pakistan and India.. I have posted a pic in the above posts where India is depicted as a serpant controlling Kashmir.. U should had told how many kites of the type u posted are actually flown in India..

2) You have tries to portray as few instigating mullahs about blesphemy incident with basant.. there is no truth to it.. as some mullahs didnt find any other argument against basant they have tried to malign this with basant but any sane person know that basant has been celebrated as spring festival long before that incident happened both by muslims emperors in india and sufis..

Yes, I think everyone knows that kites come in a myriad of shapes, sizes and colors. But yes the kite depicted in my post is also one of them… I can’t show all.

Secondly, yes it does have a link to blasphemy.

Third, Muslim emperors in India are not an inspiration for us. We have had emperors like Akbar who cause great harm to Islam, although he benefitted unity in India. So any action by Moghuls are not binding on us. They were not the rulers of the Islamic Republic of India. They were lost in ayyashi like today’s Pakistani rulers. Its hard for me to find good examples in the Moghul times of justice, equality, development and prosperity. Making palaces and great mosques does not make a country great. Its the people, democracy and good institutions for welfare that make a nation great.

Now these are different problems in our society but we cant simply say that people have lost Islam or have become non-muslims by performing them. Simply, more education and awareness but in a gentle way without issuing fatwas is a better way. In Pakistan people have slowly started to be less on piri fakiri thing but kari and honor killing is deep rooted problem in some parts..

Arabs are the true protectors of Islam. All Pakistanis should strive to be like them. Pakistan should change their national language from Urdu to Arabic. Mush should ban speaking of Urdu in Pakistan.
