Why eid-ul-fitar is known as choti eid and eid-ul-azha as bari eid?

basically its connected with Haj days. so celebration are for longer period. Eid ul Fitr is over after one day. You can start shawwal's fasting from 2nd day of Eid, but Eid ul Adha's qurbani continues for 3 days (these three days are fix)
don’t you think we celebrate the opposite? Eid ul fitar for 3 days and eid ul azha till qurbani is done even if it’s on the first day we mark the end of eid.

aaj kal kahan ki celebration… There is no excitement. At least, I don’t feel. It seems an interruption in your routine.

We celebrate jub tuk holiday hoti hai...5-7 days :p

Ye kehna k routine me interruption ho jati hy is nashukri.Ye to indirectly Allah sy shikwa ni ho gaya k hume koi excitement ni eid ki to hum kun celebrate karen ?

He didn't talk about not celebrating it. He talked about not being excited. I don't think thats nashukri.

Excitement me kuch farq to aya hy but still eid is not that boring if you have a get together in your family.

jab muhabbaten hi na hon, to masnooi muskrahaten saja kar get together kar lene se kuch nahin milta.. insaan apne aap ko munafiq lagne lagta hai
