Do you believe that ALLAH did not know that by visiting the blessed place, the open and unabashed idolatry cleanse them selves. Allah knows all.

Do you believe that everything mentioned in the Koran is meant to be applicable for ever and for all time? Clearly that cant be the case, since the rational behind the original injunction no longer apply.
