Bangladesh’s proposed tour of Zimbabwe in August has been delayed by the relaying of pitches in Harare and Bulawayo, but there’s confusion over the length of the delay.
Zimbabwe Cricket wanted to postpone the tour to October but the Bangladesh Cricket Board is against playing at that time because it would clash with the domestic season and the staging of the newly formed National Cricket League…
Re: Bangladesh tour to Pakistan postponed after court order
Thanks for sharing the video
An apology has been tendered.
"Gen Musharraf visited a war memorial at Savar, near the capital, Dhaka, and left a handwritten note in the visitors’ book.
**“Your brothers and sisters in Pakistan share the pain of the events in 1971,” he wrote. “The excesses committed during the unfortunate period are regretted. Let us bury the past in the spirit of magnanimity. Let not the light of the future be dimmed.”
“In a message written in the visitors’ book at the mausoleum in honour of Bangladesh’s war dead, the president said that Pakistanis shared the pain of that unfortunate period. “I wish to express to the Bangladeshi people sincere regrets for the tragic events, which have left deep wounds on both our nations,” he said at a state banquet later on Monday.”
Whether a ‘full’ apology should also include a commitment to compensate BD for the excesses committed in 1971 is a valid point but this perhaps should be discussed in PA
Re: Bangladesh tour to Pakistan postponed after court order
good....BD board made the right decision...had they toured pakistan and something happened, I would have personally sued zaka' ashraf fat ass as he was trying to please his boss zardari....playing one match under commando and air force security mean nothing...as no one would have still come to pakistan..so why take such a big risk
