Yes he was very right! But at the same time, he should not forget that India and Pakistan taught them cricket and got them the international status where they stand now!

The fact is Bangladesh is in super 8, India and Pak are not.
Also
With their efforts against SA and England, they proved that they deserved to be there.
Pak should focus on beating Ireland first, before claiming their "big" shoes back. India will travel to Bangladesh after WC. Even if they win there, the fact remains that Bangladesh won when it mattered the most.

I am not questioning BD's place in the Super 8. But like I have said before, the current ODI fomat has a habit of making ullus of the most knowledgable cricket experts....so don't be surprised if this world-beating BD side is now trounced by Ireland. I will say this to BD's supporters - just don't start putting away Bashar's effigy yet....you never know when you might need it.
Well...I rest my case.

He has the right to make these comments. BD are more deserving of a place than India and Pakistan both.
