banarsi sari is still in fashion.
though in pakistan the usage is less.....most people prefer other materials for sari.

She have saris for almost every occasion but wear mostly kashmiri dresses, Mine is mostly suit collection, patiala is my favourite in all section, pagdi,jutti,paranda and peg:D

The usage in India is less too. It is usually used at weddings(bride and family members) and traditional festivals. Not many people even use it as party wear. People prefer saris made of lighter materials like cotton mixed fabric or light silks for regular use :)

Kin zz agar mera joke aapko pasand nahin aaya hum aase mafi mangthay hai.
Waise humein saree ke baray mein jyada kuch pathway nahin. ( silver and gold futures up due to silver and gold jarigai)

I dont know why but I dont like Banarsi sarhee, only the Banarsi Blouse would go good but the overall sarhi doesnt give a good look…to me 
I like Georgette or Reshmeen Sarhis!

yup but there is some usage in india like celebs wear it, people wear it at parties etc......in pakistan i have hardly seen that.
