Banana Republic of Pakistan

It’s clear after ISPR’s statement that most likely Nawaz Sharif’s fate is determined. Sooner or later he will most likely resign. The end game still has to unfold.

  1. The biggest challenge for the establishment will be to sell this scripted vulgar drama as revolution.

  2. The objective of Imran Khan is to get an engineered election through the establishment. Free and fair election does not suit him. He knows he can never benefit from constitutional-electoral democracy. It’s impossible for him to get votes in Sindh against PPP. He will never win in Karachi against MQM in any free and fair election. Baluchistan will never vote for him. After ousting a popular government in Punjab he stands no chance in Punjab against Shahbaz Sharif. I highly doubt KPK will ever elect Imran Khan again in any free and fair elections. Bottom line is free and fair elections do not suit Imran Khan.

  3. Imran Khan sees his future as new establishment party. He hopes that establishment will now make him the new PMLQ.

  4. Let’s say RIP to constitutional-electoral democracy in Pakistan.

  5. The new scripted vulgar drama being played for last 4 months in coming to it’s logical conclusion. We are coming back to zero point like many times in the past. we are going to start another decade as an experimental lab of the establishment.

  6. Nawaz Sharif will become a political martyr in Punjab as an outcome of this scripted drama. Now the grand children and their grand children will vote for Sharif dynasty in Punjab if anything happens to him just like Bhutto’s dynasty gets votes in sindh.

  7. It’s the end of Imran Khan’s electoral politics.. My prediction is he will be equated with Asghar Khan in the history books of Pakistan. Establishment knows that now they have to get rid of this big liability whose usefulness is over..

Welcome to the Banana Republic of Pakistan.. So much for Naya Pakistan. Another sad day in the history of this unfortunate country..

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

Yazdi Saheb: I am really surprised that you think, Gullu Shareefs who are Murderers, Liars, Thugs, Looters, Plunderers, Revengeful, Boasters, Power abuser, Con, and have collected tens of other evil adjectives as title ... are representing democracy?

Don't you think that they should be booked as murderer on charges of murder at TUQ residence on 17th June ... but wait, they abused trust of power they have from public and did not even allowed victims to register FIR against them.

Anyhow, if you or anyone thinks that PMLN (Gullu Brothers) and Parties who support Gullu Brothers the murderers are really popular in country than to defuse the situation, why they do not accept Imran Khan demand … that is:

1: Gullu Brothers resign from the parliament.
2: Reform election process to the satisfaction of Imran Khan
3: Declare last election (2013) as defunct
4: Call next election to be held within few months … could be in December
5: Dissolve the assembly and Government
6: Appoint interim Government to the satisfaction of all, including Imran Khan and TUQ.

If murderers Gullu Shareefs (PMLN) and Allies would be confident that they have popular support in the country and last election was not massively rigged, than they would not be scared of facing free and fair election … as it would not only diffuse present crisis but would avert the chances of martial law … and in the end they would come back to power again (with one extra year to rule). ;)

woh to khair main expect ker hi reha hoon....laiken he does possess a good measured sense. Others are more or less blind on their path.

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

It would become a banana republic if the army supported a group of stooges to remove an elected government. Stooges think that the army is with them, although army has cut them loose, but they could be useful excuse to impose another 10 years of army rule.

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

OK Agreed

But only a massively engineered election will ensure a win for Imran Khan. Any free and fair election will bring back MQM, PPP, Gullu Buts, and probably ANP this time in KPK.

So please add point number (7) in your road map: Hold a massively rigged-engineered elections to ensure PTI win..

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

By this logic TUq does qualify for a Stooge doesnt he? And to some extent Immo.

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

Yes. Both want power, not through elections as they are now even more unpopular (not that they were very popular before), but through the backdoor in return for being the stooges of the army.

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

Sawal gandum… jawan channa nahi meray bhai … Sawal Aam aur jawan paer … iss liya kay aam khany kay liyea paer lagana zaroori hay … … … aur iss waqt halaat theek karnay kay liya ‘Nawaz Ka resign dayna’ aur ‘neyea election karana zaroori hay’.

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

Sindh including MQM not supporting these moves .
Baluchistan is not supporting even their assembly passed a 'Qarardad' against this all .
Saraiki Belt is silent .
GB is not with this move .
Two groups of Lahore are fighting with another Lahori

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

Yea tou bohut acchi baat hay :) ... call their bluff ... Nawaz should resign and new election under neutral empire should be held in December.

Imran would lose the election badly and Thug GUllu Shareef would win ... that would be nice ... apart of getting one more year to loot and plunder the country Gullu Thug would diffuse present turmoil too. :)

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

@fasi_zaka The most embarassing revolution. But the most creative military coup

Re: Banana Republic of Pakistan

If election was massively rigged, than it is not up to any party to resist getting last election declared defunct ... as parties have no right on election or election result, it is people's choice, and if election was massively rigged as Imran and most parties are claiming, than people's mandate was stolen and that is unacceptable.
