Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
Peace Surdar Asif,
before saying this is b'coz of your ignorance (jahalat), lets see how the other explain it further. I think shardmanny have a good reason to explain the processin as an act of jahiliya.

Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
So he can call millions of Muslims as followers of jahiliya for reasons he is yet to disclose! Excuse me if I do the same to him :) and I have my reasons too but lets hear from him first.
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
Peace Surdar Asif,
Sounds likes u think that he's calling u followers of Jahiliya. Why don't u post neutral post in reply of OP's question rather than pointing on each others.
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
dude even i know this is an anti-shia thread from 1st post on. what a joke. ![]()
^its not individuals who want to ban the procession you are talking about, mainstream Islam as a religion recognizes it [the procession] as an act of jahiliya. fact
And which mainstream is this? Because last i checked the taliban school of thought were anything but.
They are the most detested. Fact.
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
it may/ may not have intended to include them… it may be in reference to harri pagRhi because they cause much nuisance EVERY rabbi ul awal (the month that the Prophet SAW was born). I’d know, i see it every year.
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
Queer paji! Ur jyotishi? ![]()
Peace pinks,
So u see every year
have u ever tried to pass (guide) them correct info? or just watch and criticize over net?
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
^ so who exactly do i go and talk to because i believe they lighting up the city is fazool kharchi?
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
Peace pinks,
It’s about lighting ![]()

Taliban, at least the ones in Aghanistan, are followers of Hanbali-Maturidi stream. The views expressed here are Najidi.
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
Muharram and rabi ul Awal jaloos makes life difficult for people. I dont see any benefit in blocking roads , making a high security alert situation which also cost high on tax payers just to please certain groups.
cost high on tax payers money ... hmm... i think the protest organize by the sunni's and their likes seems more likely to make life for people difficult and cost high on tax payer money ... cars damaged shops burn etc etc .. so much violence, its an automatic high security alert situation compare with the words coming out from the so called government ....which is only words .. nevertheless am more interest in what you mean by ...
.......I dont think that such gatherings are fardh or wajib, so why not ban them at all for the time being.
....
"for the time being"
Is it me or you choose to open this thread now just when the month of muharram is starting soon? as you emphasis for the time being?
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
The 12th Rabi ul Awwal jaloos is being used as an excuse to butter up any Shia sympathizers.
Even SSP goes out on the street on 12 Rabi ul Awwal.
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
What you have displayed with those comments is your own ignorance (jahalat) from Islam.
do you deny that mainstream Islam sees your procession as an act of jahiliya?
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?

whats the taliban got to do with this. yes they are mainstream but they are not connected to me any more then they are to Imran khan, and other pakistanis, other muslims
this isnt about definitions of mainstream, or taliban
btw its the whole of the mainstream which sees your procession as an act of jahiliya, does this bother you? if it does we can talk, sincerely
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
the op was looking for one way of dealing with both the sunni and shia issue, so your wrong as far as op is concerned
Assalam o Alaikum all
I believe that given the security situation at pakistan specialy at karachi, why dont government ban religious and other processions.
I dont think that such gatherings are fardh or wajib, so why not ban them at all for the time being.
As a result people will not become hosatge in their home for weeks at certain areas and terrorist wont be having free sitting targets.
Your take on this.
PS: For those who disagree, please try to be civil and to the point.
I agree by 100%.
There's no need of [edited] processions, they only bother the masses, especially the processions of [edited] huge juloos/ conferences.
I'm seriously sick of them, they are too loud to be tolerated.
And above all they block and paralyse the whole cities. Is this Islam?
This is totally [edited] unacceptable.
Every year we have tensions in Pakistan because of these stupid things, so many innocent lives are lost.
Seriously just put a ban on them, if they protest against them [edited].
If it's your religion then we won't tolerate your religion that bothers us. Go take your processions to a big ground or perhaps in a desert, wherever, just go away from our cities and stop infecting the atmosphere of peace and calm.
I don't think any civilized society will tolerate these ignorant crowds that disturb the life of whole cities.

You agree or not?
Re: Ban on processions-Religious rulings?
I thought the OP specifically requested that the topic be discussed in a civilized manner without name calling and other such childish acts? Calling other sects satanic just because of their differing beliefs does not classify as being civilized please refrain from making such statements. As far as the topic is concerned I think unless you can prove that by stopping these processions you will be providing security to the individuals involved in these processions. That those individuas will be safe from the regular target killings the OP has no strong point to endorse. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND WE ARE NOT DISCUSSING THE "ISLAMICNESS" or "ANTI-ISLAMICNESS" of these processions so why are the people commenting on that? Understand the topic before you type a response that is not coherent with the argument the OP is trying to make.

Your lame mentality bothers the rest of the world. Please do us all peaceful people a favour anf take yourself to tora bora. I hear its pretty peaceful there.
