Just because I Insisted on following the sunnah ditto as prophet asked us to do, you accuse me of being a backward thinker. Yes your right and that’s the trend going on around the world nowadays. Anyone who abides by the teaching of Islam are called terrorist and extremist. You know it’s easier to be skeptic because we find skepticism to be a comfortable refuge. Skeptics always delude themselves onto thinking that scoffing at ideas or theories that run counter to the customs and popular practice is an affirmation of intellectual maturity of sophistication.
Gupshuping.
You want to know that I am doing in gupshup? Simple …..Gupshuping with you,……in the comforts of my luxurious home, lying in my master bedroom, using my Sony VAIO laptop I am gupshuping with you.
Prophet had none of them. So what?And why are you asking that question to me?
Did I tell you anywhere that, do not use modern technologies, keep away from new invention and discoveries, stay away from town areas, do not ride on bus, car and trains. Do not use computer?
Did I ask you to do any such thing? No
All I have attempted to do was to make one aware of the evils of loudspeaker in the prayers. I repeat LOUDSPEAKER IN PRAYER.
Don’t delude yourselves into thinking that I hate loudspeaker for its existence. Use it. I say Use it for anything and everything you want. But NOT in your prayers.
“Worship none other that Allah and do not add anything in his Prayers.”(Sura Nisa: 36: Quran)
And for your kind information, no one consider gupshuping as a prayer or worship. Try to understand the difference between worldly matters and religious matters. You indulge in worldly matters ( dunyadari) for fulfilling your obligations towards the society and religious matters ( Akhirat) is your obligation towards Allah.
As Prophet said: “You know better concerning your worldly matters” (narrated by Muslim).
Do not mingle worldly matters with religious ones. And using computer and Internet is not a religious obligation. Prophet permitted you to invent, innovate and do all sort of addition and multiplication in your worldly things, but warned you by saying:
“ Beware of novelty in religious matters, for every novelty is an innovation and every innovation is misguidance” ( narrated by Thirmizi)
So here I assume that He allowed me to use computer and internet for worldly matters but NOT in religious matters.
Goodnews for you is that I am gonna buy a new notebook next month.
Computer Age
Down fall of Islam. You dare to say this, but you won’t dare to admit that this downfall of Islam is actually happening in this age of you forward thinkers.
Never in the age of backward thinkers *(Before loudspeaker were used)*did the Muslim suffer like now in the age of forward thinkers.
Never in the age of backward thinkers did a unbelievers publish a fake Quran and distribute it in a Muslim country first.
Never in the age of backward thinkers did the Jews get the courage to kill three Muslim leaders in a row. (Sheikh Yassin, Rantissi, Arafat).
Never was Islam standing in such a awkward position in the age of the backwards.
And you accuse me as one of the cause of Islam’s downfall?
Like the forward thinkers, none of the prophet’s companions removed a muazzin from their mosque, none of them did ever remove a mukabbar from their mosque, nor did they ever give azan from inside their mosque. And I being a backward thinker insist of following their backward ways. What’s the harm in that?
After all I am following someone who were the best of all the people, the world has ever seen.
By calling any sunnah abiding person a backward thinker, you call prophet a backward thinker. And I think its 1000 and one times better and wiser to be a backward thinker in that case.
Logic
You brag a lot about logic. Good. And because of you types of logically forward thinking people, Islam is divided into many sects and divisions. Because logic even though seems good, always tends to be used by those who twist the real meaning of the hadith to fit their own personal interest.
Prophet did not ask us to follow our own wit and logic to judge Islamic matters.
He said at his last sermon: “ I am leaving you with the book of Allah and the sunnah of His prophet. If you follow them, you will never go astray.”
Where did you find in Quran and hadith, verses that encouraged you to follow your logic concerning your religious matters.
Quran also has something to say about people who judges by things other than Quran.
“If anyone fails to judge by What Allah has revealed, they are unbelievers.” ( Sura Al Maaida: 5: 44: Quran)
Now let me help you see where you stand under the spotlight of Maalik (May Allah have mercy on him):
“ Whoever innovates in Islam, considering his innovation to be good has in effect claimed that Muhammad failed to complete the message. For Allah said: “ This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed my favours upon you.” Therefore that which was not a part of the religion on that day is not a part of it now.”
Notice The last sentence He said …Therefore that which was not a part of the religion on that day is not a part of it now.”
Do you understand now where you and your logic certified loudspeaker stand in the light of Shariah.
Syed Jalaluddin Ansar author of Maroof and Munkar writes in his book:
“Anti-islamic forces would be dominant , the prophet (PBUH) foretells , in the later period of Islamic History, the righteous would find themselves reduced to a minority. Forces of evil would reign supreme the world over. Even those who profess Islam would be so much involved in wrong doing that they would oppose any move of preching and guidance.”
And see now, you were opposing and calling me backward. Don’t feel lonely, you were predicted about long ago. You are not the only one who goes against the sunnah. Believe me.
By the way, Can you explain me those hadith or sunnah that logically gives you the license to kick out the muazzins from the mosque.
It will be good if there is such hadith that gives us the authority to change our religion. We won’t be fighting anymore here and we can delete those innovation related hadith and Quranic Ayats.
