Today Rinds are considered as actual / real Balochs and all the tribes try to link themselves with Rind to prove their superiority.
But historically, Rind got refuge of Raja Dahir after escaping from Hajjaj (thats why Baloch folklore including their famous book Dapitar Sher claims that Balochs are from Halab, Iraq) . They were known as Allafis in Arabs and one of the reason (amongst various other reasons) for Arab attack on Sindh was refuge of these Allafis / Rind. If Rinds are considered as Allafis (refugees), then the question arises ‘who are the actual Baloch tribes, who inhibited the land before Allafis / Rind’?’ Obviously Balochistan was not an uninhibited area before 8th century.
