Yeah it was for Muslims. Not for Islam. You can be a Muslim in a Muslim majority state, and still have a secular govt.

Who said anything about Muslims not being allowed to practice their faith? Jinnah said clearly, your free to go to your temple Mosque or Church, but none of that is the business of the state. Meaning the govt does not endorse a state religion.

Pakistan was made for the sake of providing Muslims of India political, economic, and social empowerment, not a base to establish an Islamic theocracy.

Pakistan is a muslim majority state, deeply religious but not extremist. Who gave these Islamists the right to make decisions for all of us? No one! The backlash is growing and the political ideology of Pakistan will not be subverted by those forces masquerading as Muslim yet oppressing those who are in the minority.

The government should worry about rebuilding from the flood damage, providing our people with jobs and increasing our output before getting involved in religious matters. I see our energies wasted on an agenda that is dividing the nation.
