By the way, the religious right in the US uses similar arguments against secularism, with phrases such as the imaginary"War on Christmas" conducted by secularism. Your arguments will find plenty of sympathy with the right wingers and Tea Partiers, who IMHO are quite intolerant of minorities.

I find it ironic that many of the same people who condone the oppression of minorities in their home countries, talk about minority rights while living or traveling to the West. Religion should be a personal matter, and not infringe upon the functions of the State.
