I can not understand how this skeleton can be buried deep enough to
Avoid it from ever creeping back and haunt such an evenly contested good cricket match.
The stigma and the history should have been way out in the archive catching dust.
I am closely watching this match and so are the several million people including the umpire panels and the commentators. The accusation is severe enough and I don’t think Inzimam or Zaheer Abbass are people with enough venom to fight this one out. This battle should come home and then taken back to the ICC with your right resources.
This is an anti climax of an interesting series and the umpire panels are to be blamed for showing their irresponsible haste
I think its only fair to wait for more details to come thru before we can actualy
protest on any allegation. The problem is the Pakistani entourage, which is without any real commander to face ICC panels to investiagte this issue at the venue itself before the trail goes cold.
The laws of the game they are talking about and flinging the ‘ICC rule book’ back n fore are irrelevent to the incident. No one is disputing the laws anyway ! Lets not allow them to use this ‘rule book’ ploy from the real incident
oho dear captain,........listen 2 d radio,...........bbc radio,..........The fourth Test between England and Pakistan descended into chaos late on day four over a ball-tampering row.
Controversy flared up when the hosts were awarded five penalty runs and allowed to choose a replacement ball. Pakistan refused to come out after tea, returned after discussions between both sides' officials but the umpires stayed inside and the tourists went back in. ...........thats mainly it,................
Captain ^ In actual reality ‘NOTHING’ at all. It was abruptand sudden on Pakistan team. The ball was swining earlier on , and umpires (hair) decided upon inspection, changed the ball in consant with the batsman awarded 5 runs to the english total , all this without any clarification or subjecting any bowler/ player of foul play , baaasstard !
its really tough to believe this guy Darrell hair, rightly said by Nasser Hussan, that he is stubborn, I would say that he is a stuborn A$$ho|3…
he cannot keep himself out of the controversy, can he??
He cant us accept Pakistan playing well in the match.. lets see what happens tomorrow. no more LBW or caught behinds, the only thing you can do is bowl..
and yes still INSHA ALLAH we will win..
I think what the management (including the umpires) is trying to do is to get away with the mistake they made. They know they made a mistake (or atleast, it is 90% certain to all the officials who’ve spoken about it), and now they are trying to distract the attention away from the original issue of ball tampering, and bringing in the issue of ‘should the match continue’ because Pakistan’s Team failed to return to the field on time.
However, the rules of ITC clearly state that ‘a team is allowed to protest a claim’, which is exactly what Pakistan was doing. They never refused to return back to the field. They signalled that they were returning shortly, and infact, also did return, shortly after.
But again, umpire Hair has failed to see that Pakistan has not refused, but is only protesting (which is allowed, according to rules & regulations). Either he didn’t see this, or he is just being ignorant. And, in my personal opinion, I opt for the latter.
I just heard little bit of commentry on RADIO PAKISTAN as well and commentator was saying, that someone told him, that at the end of 3rd day,s play Duncun fletcher,ENGLISH coach, met Darrel hair and told him to keep an eye on PAKISTANIS when the ball gets old and starts reverse swinging, IT WAS ALL PROGRAMMED,guys
haha well it's funny. even the people commenting were involved in ball tempering lyke micheal atherton who was caught by the camera. but oh well i think inzi and pcb made a good move. even though we were in a winning position, they protested because this isn't the first tyme with darrel hair. they even said before the match that they are gona complain to ICC about darrel hair. it's gona be interestin now that what action would ICC take regarding darell hair.
NO NO NO ! THIS IS NOT ABOUT INZI OR PAKISTAN NOT APPEARING ON THE GROUND,OR BBC OR THEIR F***KING PREJUIDCE, , THIS IS ABOUT ICC
AND THEIR DICTORSHIP IN ASSIGNING (IMPOSING) CONROVERCIAL REFEREES AND UMPIRES TIME AFTER TIME TO FURTHER CREATE AN IMPRESSION *You don’t tell us what to do, you protest against us (ICC) the SUPEREMO BODY, and we will penalize you for being born in an asian backward dusty country,
I think the lid of the melting pot has hit the sky, unfortunatley its Pakistan that is being used as the scapgoats to reform a controvercial system.
Pakistan ! Beacuse we are the proud muslim nation that is in the limelights in the first place for fighting terrorism within and abroad sometimes with our own kind.
Say it ICC! if you dare ,
^ , In actual sence and BBC being used as bait, THEY ARE DIVERTING ATTENTION FROM A SIMPLE ALLEGATION to a more blown out of the propertion
historical allegations qouting / unqouting from the past.
We have to be careful not to play in their hands of straying away from the main issue on hand ,
I am so proud of Pakistani team right now. I am fed up of Australian umpiring and of specially this guy Hair. This we did for Honour and we need that untill western sob's stop harrising us. :)
^ I say screw them ! Pakistan should revoke it’s membership from ICC until an apology is issued , We love our cricket but our national pride is not below it.
