But...that is fate...that someone (a whole country) bows before god in whichever form he exists...its god's courtesy that everyone listening to that song pray to "Allah" ...If someone is believing in a form of god and remembers him by a hymn ..than that's good.....why to bring economics in that.... I hope we can also talk about the positive aspects of this story rather than the few negative stereotypes present both sides. Here are a few.
The pakistani characters were more open minded and accepting of diversity from maulana saab to the journalist.
The pakistani public was symapthetic to munni and pawans story and helped them..from the bus conductor/public in bus/journalist to the crowds at end.
Even those who initially did not believe their story came around from the soldiers on the border to the police officers. one of the police inspectors at end said it would be against the glory and honour of Pakistan for an innocent like him to suffer in jail.

Sadly positive india-pakistan stories whether movies or news get few replies or comments. Just like the thread on some residents of mumbai raising money for a pakistani girl’s medical treatment. No replieS. Must be why such movies are in such shortage compared to antagonistic ones. once in a blue moon we get a bajraangi bhaijaan rather than an agent vinod etc

You should definitely watch it. Salman has given his best performance according to me.
it is historical because it is a rare bollywood movie not centred around a love story. Has awesome storyline, great cinematography, great songs and good emotions and dramas. Its a family film with no vulgarity or item songs. It can be watched with grandparents.
ive watched a couple of times and i rarely watch bollywood or any movies in cinema. I wouldnt have watched this either had my pakistani friend not recommended it. She said it made her cry at end. It had same effect on me.
2nd highest grossing bollywood movie in india and overseas of all time so far. Second only to PK.
Salman was ok but the little girl and nawazuddin are the real highlights of the movie. Plus songs are awesome. Some would say shahid afridi is the actual hero..he plays important role in film
Mashallah! She is just so adorable.. Makes the movie worth watching.
