Cody Bhai, since when did I have to care about what Rajesh, Yaqoob and Singh have to say about my belief? And by comparison treason is a milder gaalee than what I have heard. Anyway, those who define patriotism as the mob style militia hoogalism where law and order is not valued but charged senseless emotions are, then by all means his actions were treason, just like the actions of the hundreds of traitor Iraqis that get killed standing in lines to find employment by the brave heart mujahideen, the protector of Islamic faith, who come to blow them up. But that’s a discussion for another thread.
Just because Ahmadis and Bahais share the ideology of peace in the world, it doesn’t mean their ideology comes from the same root. I have only interacted with Bahais who come to campuses to attend seminars to educate people about their faith in an interfaith conference and the 4~5 that I have attended, not a single one of the Bahai ministers quoted Quran as their basis of World Peace or Islam as their core belief. So, joining hands with them will be as effective as joining hands a humanist who deplores violence on a personal level.
Besides Ahmadis are a dynamic missionary movement, we have native Ahmadis in Fiji to Ivory Coast to Jamaica & Japan. Bahai ideology towards preaching is somewhere between Hinduism and Judaism, where they don’t go out to preach but they are not as strict as Jews about letting people in.

As opposed to Ahmadi religion, I have very limited knowledge of Bahai faith and their way of life and never had interaction with people of bahai faith
Maybe you are right. Maybe lack of interest is on their part. although we can never be sure of this, until we hear their POV.
Anyway, my suggestion is quite unrealistic keeping in view the history of mankind. Religion usually part away, merger of two or more religions is quite unprecedented.

- Bahais believe that Bab was the meniefstaion of God Himself.
- They believe that Quran is a law of the past
- They have their own shariah with new laws
- Bahais do not confront other faiths on the differences.
- Bahais do not believe they are muslims.
- Bahais do not follow Islamic shariah, Islamic prayers/fasting/Hajj/zakat practices
