i don't need a totka. I'm asking if you observe sach bade buzrug who have totka and home remedies with them. Like my dadi used to have many totkas for gala kharab, pet dard, type problems.
For gala kharab, use chukandar ki patti ka paste in milk,
pet dard, Use pudina juice
Always sleep keeping your head in south and feets toward north so that magnetic field lines of earth passes through head to toe
all these are panditain ke totke:)

Our Dadi also advised us to sleep in that direction. But the reason were different. Don’t sleep while your feet towards west because Kaaba is in that direction. Don’t sleep while your feet towards Nort because there lies her Badshah Peer Dastageer 
My ammi has additional farmaishi program: hamesha karwat le kar soao.. sar pe chadar mat dalo.. dil main haul uthte hai

Its believed that first and third generations behave like same way. My Dada always say to my Ammi, I see myself in your children.

North has abode of Bhagwan Shiv but as mentioned in some Upnishad that is the right way discovered by her ancestors and her ancestors are right by default:)
And saas like her brings at least many rules and regulation like no dining table and sit on ground facing east, chant bhojan mantra before eating, bath everytime if you use lavatory (thought not applicable to me:D) and don’t enter her kitchen if you haven’t bathed etc etc:(
