Recipe for Chicken white sauce..

Ingredients:

  • Chicken - cut into small pieces
  • Garlic paste
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped Spring onion
  • Chopped capsicum
  • Green peas (canned)
  • Salt, chinese salt, Black pepper
  • Fresh cream
  • Oil

Method:

Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in wok, add garlic paste and saute well. Now add chopped onions and cook until onions turn a light brown color, about 8-10 minutes. Add chicken cubes, Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly done. Add salt, Chinese salt, and Black pepper. Then add the chopped capsicum & spring onion. Cook for 5 min and add the green peas. Remove from the heat, let cool and add the fresh cream and leave to thicken for a few minutes stirring over a low heat.

Recipe for Green rice..

Ingredients:

  • Oil
  • Rice
  • Green chilli
  • Fresh coriander
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Water

Method:

Grind coriander, Black pepper, and green chili to fine paste. Heat oil in a pan. Add the green paste and stir fry for 5 minutes. Next add the rice. Stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the water and salt, bring to a boil and turn the heat to low. Cover the pan. Cook about 10-12 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water has evaporated. Now add butter, chopped green chilli and fresh coriander. Turn off the heat and fluff the rice with a rice spoon.
