Lara I think its good if you keep your experiences posted here in this thread, as it can show people what your own personal experience was overall. Its good that you resolved your issue with them, as you clearly mentioned in your post. But I think its still good for everyone to read the whole process you went through...as you mentioned that when you first received them the stitching wasnt good, and there were holes in the chiffon, and the fitting was too tight..and the issue with the delivery charges..etc....I do think these are all important for potential buyers to be aware of....of what they might be getting themselves into.....and then as you mention you sent them all back to get fixed and were happy with what you got in the end

Lara- you did not start this thread but as SGC said, yours was the first post to report her bad service so when we split the thread, it got moved here. Also, your post is not just here, you wrote about your experience in several other threads as well which is not allowed but your explanation at that time was that you're making people aware of HH. Lots of people post different things but mods cannot keep editing stuff according to each person's convenience.

Does Hajra Hayat herself know of this issue or is it just her people who are trying to cover the matter?
From the emails it seems they are out of their minds
so sorry for the girl who received that as her valima jora
they dont understand that why she didnt like it
hmmm sumone who pays $1900 is not looking for a jora like that maybe if she paid $190 then she couldnt complain
i hope all the support this issue has gotten is giving her some relief
our problem in pakistan is not standing up to ppl like these
if a big designer did this here there would be a public outcry
hopefully this thread n its support will make designers scared to screw over customers

Until the buyer gets her refund for that horrendous dress....it should remain as it is. There are just too many farudia people out there and they should be exposed before more girls become victims.

There is no concept of customer service or customer satisfaction in Pakistan ....these so called 'professionals' dont know what the heck customer retention means and what it can do to their business!

HAJRA HAYAT TEAM: it is absolutely shameful and disgraceful on your part to disclose a clients PERSONAL information on a PUBLIC internet forum. it is even more horrifying than the HIDEOUS outfit you guys created and sent, which by the way is utterly disgusting!! colour is not even the main issue as far as i am concerned-- it is the BELOW AVERAGE quality of karigiri. koi safai nahi hai, and your customer service is absolutely despicable.

WOW! Im soooo shocked right now. I was about to order an outfit from Hajra Hayat and now will not be doing so. There is no way Im throwing my money out the window for not only poor quality work but poor customer service. I really believe in good customer service. I will pay the extra money if Im treated well by the staff and if Im not then no one I know will be frequenting that place/designer.

If you really wanted to address the issue publicly, you should have acknowledged the situation, apologized and done your best to replace the outfit or refund these people their money as soon as possible.

What you dont understand is that a bride was depending on you to deliver a beautiful outfit and you ruined her day. You ruined it. It happened, now you must do something to rectify it. Otherwise, your name is about to get butchered.

Disclosing your clients' personal information on a public forum is not only unethical but I believe its a violation of privacy laws...or is that not something you all believe in? Is this business run out of your basement? Have you never had any dealings with people before? Is this how you talk to people on a professional level? Furthermore, is this how you allow your TEAM to be represented?

You're just making this worse. And if you think Rabeela (whoever she is) is doing a marvelous job of handling it...you're very obviously wrong. She needs to be replaced with someone who has more diplomatic, people and customer service skills.

Rabeela/Hajra Hayat does not have any friends in her friend's list and has yet to post pictures of this "satisfied" client.

I saw Hajra’s collection on Fashion PK last week and did see resemblance to other designer’ peices. But then again, I didn’t ever find any of her pieces too original so didn’t expect anything more from her!

I personally think that some of HH's designs are very, very nice. That is why I originally ordered from her because I felt her designs were different. I am not sitting in Pakistan so I do not see all what is available in the big bazaars. I find her work not too heavy, yet a statement is made with the embellishment.

It is extremely unfortunate what has happened with the valima outfit. I hope they allow HH to re-do the outfit because from my experience, the work gets done.

As for the style stripped website, the outfits are similar, yet the neckine and daman embroidery is different. I like HH's better and am considering ordering it. I think this outfit would fit into western wear very well.

I agree, even though Lara didn't start the thread the info should be here for all to see. She had a bad experience and they sorted it out for her. It's not like it never happened. And I am sure Hajra Hayat realises that. This will serve to make them work harder for those of us they could potentially shaft. Am so glad this topic comes up on Google Search.

Lara, given the big mess the first time around, getting the outfit redone is out of the question.

an everyday kurti and a bridal gharara are two different outfits and while i'm glad you got your situation sorted and that they redid your clothes for you, they can clearly provide *no **guarantee in this case that what is going to come back is going to be any different or better that what was sent. *especially since they have insisted all along that what they've sent is exactly like what was ordered, i.e. the picture on their website-- from the pictures i've posted of that valima gharara, anyone can see its not the same thing AT ALL.
and so they'd probably send another poorly-made outfit and then insist it was like the original too!

so yeah, as i said earlier, getting it redone is not an option at this point.
