Bad customer service

Have you ever got the urge to raise your voice when someone give you bad customer service, especially at places like banks,etc?

Naaw I don't like raising my voice to anyone. I just speak with their managers if the need be, and mostly it gets sorted out.

I’m known to be “firm” with service industries - I’m polite but explain clearly how I’m not satisfied with their " customer service" - being a typical Brit- we Brits love to complain …:hehe:…Ive also spoken to Managers and People in charge- my view is -theyre paid to do a job like anyone else and customer service is paramount - if my needs are not met by my Personal Banker then my right is to tell them so ( whether in person or via letter/email) Always has worked for me alhamdolilah!:k:

Nope..NEVER raised my voice...I work in customer service..so I know how it feels when ppl start raising their voice..I have LOADS of patience for them...and if it is really not working out then I just speak to someone in charge.

I'd never raise my voice, its as rude as the person whos causing the problem! But I do tend to say "Why are you being cranky?" The direct route tends to knock them off course and come back to being normal. If that fails, I'd complain the manager.But thats rare.

I had ordered an U.S.B of my competitor company(Tata),I was told that it would get delivered in the evening today,but now I have been told told that it would get delivered only tomorrow morning. :o:

The person responsible for it’s sale is standing here like an idiot and he says sorry!!!

In your shoes I would clout him across the back of the head with a firm but not full force slap,:smilestar: or maybe punch his deltoids and give him a dead arm then offer some chai… :chai:

I have worked in customer service areas myself and I have been shouted at and it’s nothing short of retardedness :snooty: I wouldn’t do it to anyone else even if they were at fault. When managers are called out by a customer, they know it’s serious and most of them will do anything to sort it out.

Once an old lady asked me a question, I didn’t hear her properly and said “pardon me?” … she just lost it… "DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH HERE?!

Another time this lady started giving out to me because she couldn’t return a used jacket that she didn’t even have a receipt for :nahi: No wonder I didn’t last on that job for long!

Oh sorry BBC but some rules in CS are so bad the poor folk working in that department know thier talking BS but since they are paid to do so they must try and fool others.... it's one of the worst kinda jobs out there.

Retail store rules are pretty straight forward though. It’s the customers who try to fool you in retail stores by switching price tags and whatnot. :vivo:

Okay seriously Retail industry must be awfull I cant even imagine the scale of the operations. I rarely have to deal with that sort of thing but the worst customer service has to be at airports and other transport related places I think… :aj:

Retail industry is good for students as you don't need a qualification or much experience to be employed by them. But the working conditions are not exactly great.

ive never shouted at anyone and i dont think i ever would. ive worked with nasty customers before so, remembering this and my own experience, i tend to just remain calm and patient.
