Baby Names

Re: Baby Names

Actually Fraudz I like your daughter's name - Arianna. I think I remember it from a disney movie about a Russian princess or something?? I searched for the origin and meaning online because the name has been in my mind for a very long time (since the disney movie). Found out it is Greek for purity if I remember correctly which is a nice meaning :) Don't worry though we are not naming our daughter Arianna even though I think the name is very pretty but apparently it has become very common in the US :-(

Re: Baby Names

we nearly searched for 8 month, till we found the right one! i dind`t want a name with an R in it, coz here in germany they pronounce it very badly! :(

Re: Baby Names

I think the funniest thing I've heard is when we were in highschool a friend liked these 2 names and was like yeh I'm gonna call my daughters that and in the end... her mum had 2 little girls and named them the same names that my friend wanted

Yeh it's ridiculuos when ppl take the name and are like 'yeh I thought of it off the top of my head' We recently went to Pakistan and one of our second cousin had named there child the same name as my brother and were like 'yeh off the top of my head' the funny thing was that they didnt really know what it meant

Okay I know sometimes it's harder to pronounce asian names- but they are really unique- we ( my bro's, and sis and cousins) all been given arabic names- some of the names are more common e.g. ayesha whist others are more unique
